Shafia family all found guilty of first-degree murder

There's an old Serbian anecdote that has a bearing on this.. While I can't get all the linguistic nuances in there, I'll get the point across..
A man bumps into another man.
-Excuse me, I'm blind
-It's ok, but who clawed out your eyes?
-My brother
-Ahhh that's why he dug so deep

.

I know throughout history sibling rivalry runs deep, but never for a parent to do a mass genocide of their offsprings

Now, the son, that kid right there is a real genius in the making.

The pictures I saw on the news last night of the oldest one showed her in shorts that Barbara Bach would have thought twice about wearing. I think I'd be vocal in my displeasure of my teenage daughter being out in public with them on. Corporal punishment would be out of the question, however.

That pic is pretty tame...... pic 7 in this series no doubt blew Daddy's top. There are others floating around just as revealing I believe of the other daughter.

EDIT : Here are pics of the other daughter......

Ironic. he killed his daughters because he disapproved of them having boyfriends and in the end, he and his son end up in prison with a new boyfriend named Bubba :)

little did they know that Daddy knew how to use FaceBook.

The son was the one, who was following them around. I'd surmise that he was the one, who knew his way around a computer. He is, after all, the one who was Googling places to commit murder.

Which brings about another question. What happens to his real estate and his wealth?
Does the gov't automatically engulf it? His whole immediate family is in jail now

meh, he was just jealous cos he couldnt land a gf as hot as his sisters.

nah, he found the pics of his sister, and wanted her, that all went south and then this is the outcome...while the dad is blowing a gasket, the brother is blowing a load...

Not really, there are 3 other kids he has still alive and well.

If you were paying attention, there were 10 members on the "family trip". 3 are now in jail, 4 perished, which leaves 3 left. :)

Maybe it'll go to his 2nd wife's sister, who said that she and her husband believe in honour killing when they were interviewed by La Presse?

really?
I thought he kill 'em all.

Way to ruin his life. Daddy was probably busy doing business, thats why he couldn't discipline them to wrap themselves like a mummy.

In the end, he lost alot, alot for what he worked for in his life.

Nothing, your don't lose all your property for being convicted of a crime.
unless that property is proceeds of crime.

She obviously believed in "honour killing" after all, she has the world to gain

It will go to whoever he puts in his will, in the absence of a will the remaining children will be the first entitled.

A poor consolation prize for having half your family being killed by the other half and going to prison.
