I don't know the whole story, but I've been hearing about this case in the news lately and I have no idea what the daughters/wife did to "deserve" this. What exactly were they "guilty" of?

The pictures I saw on the news last night of the oldest one showed her in shorts that Barbara Bach would have thought twice about wearing. I think I'd be vocal in my displeasure of my teenage daughter being out in public with them on. Corporal punishment would be out of the question, however.

anyone got a link to the evidence in this case? all i found is some fishy driving skills and autopsy results that were suppose to be released, or not? were the victims already dead before hitting the water? was there any struggle on the bodies? just curious as to what evidence led to the conviction...
Top of my head........
no skid marks before vehicle hit the water
none of the bodies wearing seatbelts
No visible evidence that they tried to leave the vehicle once submerged
damage to other car matches damage to submerged vehicle
staged accident in Mtl, no 'broken pieces' visible at staged scene to match damage
things that happened at the hotel in Kingston that I dont recall

i read the motel part, about ordering a room for 6 instead of nine, but then, even i have lied about a number of people going to be staying to help save some cost...meh, once i read everything on this, guess i will know more...
There's some truth to that. Even if I was dressed like that, I'm sure a few guys would beat the crap outta me
ON a serious note she does dress a bit too revealing, but I don't justify of her being murdered.
- Bits of plastic, that The Crown contended were consistent with Shafia's Lexus, found at the scene
- Shafia first requested hotel room space for 6 people and then, after a hurried conversation in Farsi(?), amended the request to 10
- Lots of wire-tap recordings of Shafia saying things like he hoped that Satan would defecate on their graves
- The very fact that someone, with his money, bought a throw-away "beater" car
Dead or unconscious. I don't remember hearing either way.
Still, I haven't heard if there was water in their lungs/burst blood vessels (drowned) or air (dead before they hit the water).

If she was standing up she probably wouldn't be showing the mid-riff. I tend to be conservative and all I see is a normal cute kid.
