Sat June 9- Ride 507/elephant lake/algonquin

I would suggest taking the backroads to get to 507 (cut through Omemee). You can always slab back to T.O. with 115 and 401 if it gets late.

Slow down to the posted max limits when cutting through small towns, that's usually where people get nailed (90 in a 45-50 zone).
I am guessing if start time is 9:30, the group will be back in T.O. around 9pm earliest (every additional person beyond a group of 4 accounts for +0.5 hour because of pee breaks, food, chatting, etc.)

10+ hours on a ninja 250 is perfectly fine. Have a fun and safe ride.

P.S. A little rain doesn't bother me, but once on an GTAM Algonquin run it started raining so hard that we couldn't even see, boots were full, etc ... I guess it's just the memory of that which worries me.

Google maps shows a shell right across the street for all you v-power nuts (me included)

So no one should have anything less than a full tank when we leave!

As suggested by some and due to the length of the ride and trying to avoid inner city traffic we are meeting outside of the city.
We are leaving from 48 and (Major MacKenzie Road at 9:30 am sharp! have a FULL TANK!!!

No shell but esso...

If Sat does not work out due to weather, ill do this run Sunday just for kicks if I don't end up going to the Guns, Guns, and girls ride.

And for the "spirited" riders, just wave them all by at the beginning of the 507, or just let them leave from the gas station first. Meet up with them at the stop sign at the end of the 507

Yeah, just got home to find out the news is all over the place about Tornados in Parry Sound, thunderstorm watch on Oshawa and Ajax, etc .. .oh and also the band of plastic bags on the gta... crazy what TV can show you!

ugh, I kinda want to cancel it and run it another weekend, but I may not go shooting and maybe tag along with you Sunday (im not much into guns, sorry toysforboys lol )
