Im glad you guys made it out there.. I ended up in that area too... awesome day ...
no not at all, was actually unsure about going to the guns thing or riding.. so I made up my mind like late last night.. nothing againt the time or anything like thatYou should have came with us. I don't know why you didn't. Was the meet up time too early for you?
I'll PM you two the route when I have more time after work.
I think I'm going to exclude all Duacat's from my future group rides! Fuel light comes on at 150km's??? LOL! Bring a gas can then...i was in the area with some riders as well , beautiful day and ride ...i hope you enjoyed it andre (afoletreyu)... i think eshter run out of gas , so she had to get out of the highway early...

My blinking fuel gauge made me nervous, but it must have been acting up, because I still had 4 litters of gas left..
Anyway: 630 km yesterday on 19 litters of gas. That's 430 km on a 13 litter tank . When the ride is not so "relaxed" as yesterday, I'm closer to 500 on a tank. That's no Ducati
i must say its the best fuel efficient machine i have ever seen ... i think it has to do with ur riding too although u were riding pretty faster than before .... how was the handling on the corners ? i think u can lean more on cbr250 than kawi250r , u got bigger rear tires at the end ...
Are you getting 500km/tank on the CBR250R?? I barely squeeze 280km on mine...250 and the blinking starts.
I assume because it's not your first bike, when you fill it up with fuel you are filling it right to the top of the tank, not with the nozzle all the way in?Are you getting 500km/tank on the CBR250R?? I barely squeeze 280km on mine...250 and the blinking starts.

Your user manual usually tells you how many litres are left when the light comes on. Doing some math you can figure out exactly how far you could go. Me... I just put a small gas can in my backpack and go for a ride until it runs dry, then I REALLY know how far I have when the light comes onYes that's correct. My first was a CBR125 which gave me around 300km per tank. This bike I fill with the nozzle out filled to the very top of the tank. I'll typically let the fuel light flash as I don't know how many kms I have until it runs dry. I wouldn't expect it to have another 120km in the tank at that stage...would it??
