Nope. In the US this type of offence doesn’t usually result in a custodial sentence, especially for a first time offender, unless the gun was used in a crime.

It’s a felony… not a boo-boo. In fact 3 felonies, lying on the form, possession of a firearm while rsstricted and one more I can’t figure out.
If it was a zone 1, slap on the wrist. All 3 counts were class 3, 2 can carry 10 years, the other 5.
Judges have a lot of discretion, but they will weight the evidence. The fact a close person removed the gun and felt he was dangerous enough to turn over to the police doesn’t work in his favour.

Ahh…it’s all collusion on a massive and incredibly complex scale across multiple agencies in total secrecy involving the most powerful people in the country/on earth and this collusion is only one-way and only affects one side.
