Trump Guilty

81million 😂

The republicans won all three in the biggest landslide ever and they didn’t get 81million votes

Thank about that

Don't be surprised if he starts pardoning the Jan 6 rioters shortly after he gets in the office.
IMO.. doing that would means he did and does support what happened at the capitol.
He already promised exactly that.

Words matter, but context is more important.

"Stand back and stand by" wasn't a call to arms. Honest. You can trust me. Might as well have said show up, bring your guns, and wait for me to look into the camera and wink FFS.

And don't forget that he sat in the WH for 5+ hours gloating while watching the insurrection on TV, refusing to act on his daughter's and almost all of his adviser's advice to do a live announcement telling them to stand down and leave the Capitol Building. But hey, he didn't actually tell them to do it. Literally. With pictures and diagrams.

He wasn’t wrong when he was saying it was a left wing issue when many cities burned down

He anybody looked into the part where Tariffs are actually an act of Congress and Don can’t actually say it’s anything % , he does not have the authority to do this ?

Congress has the overall responsibility and authority to establish international trading tariffs, however, that's not exclusive.

The President can implement and change tariffs using Executive Orders if he is addressing national security issues (Trade Expansion Act,1962), and if the USA is addressing unfair trade practices (The Trade Act of 1974).

Borders control is a legitimate national security issue, protectionisms are often legitimate unfair trade practices.

Unlikely, at best. The Republicans currently control all three branches of government and no one in the party seems to really want to call him on his crap, when it matters.
I think Trump will see opposition, but not until after the dust settles on his inauguration.

He has 1 term as President, and control over the House and Senate is up for grabs in 2 years. His influence over elected politicians' careers lessens every day, and his control over appointed will stay strong.

I suspect the likes of Kennedy and Musk will either get bored or fired in fairly short order, as time goes by we'll see capable folks take over the big roles.

And that was right after he promised to "be right there with you" to the people at his rally.

I think that you're underestimating the politicians' desire to retain their positions. Trump has proven that he can get elected with a majority vote, even if that was because more than 8 million voters just stayed away from the polls. The second term is also when most Presidents make their lasting mark on history, because they no longer need to make deals in order to get elected AGAIN.

It will be no surprise if this term has a revolving door on advisory positions. The last one did.

EDIT - There is already talk of the Trump Presidency discontinuing the $2500.00 incentive for the purchase of EVs. How do you think that will go over with Musk, when it starts to impact his bottom line? He'll just be another "disloyal" and "terrible" person after that, and get shunted out.

It tells me that either there is profound voter apathy or a flaw in the system. I don't profess to know which.

It's apathy, for the most part, at least when it comes to this election. US elections are generally decided by a single digit number of percentage points. There are large groups who will only vote for one side or the other, based on what Their "daddy did and his daddy a'fore", so a small number of swing voters actually decide the election. This time out the Democrats simply failed to spark any real interest. I don't think that the factor of their candidate being both Black and female can be discounted as a reason, either. Exit polls in Georgia, for example, showed a massive increase in support (by percentage, not number of voters) for Trump among male Black voters. That's either Black male Dem voters staying home, or an actual increase in Trump support among that demographic. The former is more likely, but either demonstrates something.

Not underestimating.

Today they are all prostrating to Trump because he can either make their career better or worse. I'll agree nobody wants worse, and at this early stage Trump has them by their necks with the time and freedom to crush those disloyal to him.

At some point just over 2 years from now, Trump loses his grip on their throats. He might still be powerful and able to control them, but politicians will read the tea leaves and look out for their own interests -- at that point, loyalty gets flushed or transferred.

That has nothing to do with the quote. He was asked in the debate to denounce far right white supremacist and fascist militia groups and he told them to stand by. That 's code for be ready. You don't need a degree in English to figure that out.

Maybe. Maybe not. Remember that the party is currently being held hostage by the Tea Party loonies and Trump is their current darling figurehead. Ignore him and you have to deal with them. That extends far beyond Trump's current influence.
