The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

There is a bad one in Barrie coming out of Costco. Two lanes go left into three lanes. From the left turning lane, 5% go into lane one, 90% go into lane two and 5% go into lane three. Lots of honking. Lots of crashes. The people drifting wide get very angry when people honk at them.

Anything on Mapleview is a ****-show...

I really have no idea why people can't understand the concept of different turn lanes for different reasons. The number of times that I've almost been taken out by someone who wants to take the inside lane in order to beat everyone to the outside lane is absolutely ludicrous. Specifically 410 north to Derry west and 410 north to Steeles east. At Steeles it's frequently an 18 wheeler that swings wide and almost forces me into the island, on occasion. No idea what they think other transports would do, in that case.

Thanks . Now that I understand I will agree100%. Proper lane control is one of my pet peeves.

Making this left it's into the right hand lane (where the white Hyundai is turning).
Otherwise, you'll be forced to turn left, as those behind you won't let you in.

Here you can see that the left lane is a left turn lane:

Ha. Another member of the tow truck mafia ****** off the boys in blue.

The driver was charged with the following:
Operate Vehicle – Fail to Display Device, HTA 85(1)
Drive Motor Vehicle – No Currently Validated Permit, HTA 7(5)(A)
Fail to Carry Completed Daily Inspection Report, HTA 107(6)
Colour Coating Obscuring Interior, HTA 73(3)
Improper Tire on Commercial Motor Vehicle, HTA, 70(3)(a)
Stunt Driving: Perform A Stunt: Excessive Speed.

The owner was charged with:
Operate Vehicle – Fail to Display Device, HTA 85(1)
Drive Motor Vehicle – No Currently Validated Permit, HTA 7(5)(A)
Fail to Carry Completed Daily Inspection Report, HTA 107(6)
Colour Coating Obscuring Interior, HTA 73(3)
Improper Tire on Commercial Motor Vehicle, HTA, 70(3)(a)
The license plates were seized and returned to Service Ontario.

The vehicle was impounded for 14 days, and the driver’s licence suspended for 30

Hopefully the impound yard will charge their regular mafia extortion rate to this tow driver like they do to everyone else and not let them off easy because driver is "one of us"
It's unlikely that they would have called the same towing company to remove one of their own vehicles and given that tow truck operators have been known to occasionally shoot at each other, I doubt they'll get a break on the storage fees.

Polaris Slingshot in Brampton at around 8:30am today. Didn't see a helmet (required for 3-wheelers in Ontario). Didn't seem to understand the concept of stop signs, nor stopping before making a right turn at a red light. Didn't even appear to slow down when driving through them. Hope he enjoyed those train tracks that I didn't slow down for, so he wouldn't have any warning.

I don't think those laws apply in certain areas. I pretty sure in Markham, you're permitted to turn into the outside lane when you run a red or stop sign.

Whereas in Brampton it would appear to be mandatory.

Had to drive into oncoming lane this morning as a dumb transport truck driver got his truck stuck under this bridge in downtown Hamilton. Clearance wasn't even close, no chance it was getting through. Not the first time this has happened. I was one of first to come up on it, wondering if he got charged or not. He was calmly sitting in his truck on the phone, if was me would've been frantically taking air out of the tires to get out before cop showed up :ROFLMAO:
