man plows through motorcyclists

Police reports indicate that other than the beaten SUV driver, there were NO additional injuries. This is contrary to the hype that is being spread on the 'net, via social media.

Here is the link to what I have seen on facebook, also read it in the post from the people that say there were there on the ride....And if you pause the video you can see him laying on the ground face down after the SUV drives over his body

Every action in life has consequences...

And i know nothing about the guy in that post, however if you ride with idiots who act like idiots you mights end up eating up the consequences for their actions, as well as yours.

As I said, this is contrary to the police reports. If it's true, I can't say that I have a whole lot of sympathy.

Exactly

In the end they pulled him out of the car, beat him up and stabbed him.

What do you think their plans were once they had him blocked in at the beginning of the video? to exchange insurance information?

Come back down to planet earth...
This is a perfect case for a glock and 32 round mags, plenty of them :lmao:

He only got beat up and stabbed after nearly killing one of their own (note JohnnyP's post above). I'd argue that if he DIDN'T run them over, they wouldn't have stabbed/beat up/etc. etc.

These guys are little kids at heart just wanting to break the rules for day (not saying it's right), they aren't irrational human beings like terrorists or ex-military goons (proof is that the Asian man isn't dead).

Watch the video that 23sigma posted. This isn't a group that could be reasoned with. Wrong side of the road. Running red lights. Riding on the sidewalk. Cutting through gas stations on the wrong side of the road. Property damage. Intimidation. They were a pack of criminals, pure and simple. The Rover driver did the right thing, he just failed at the execution of it.

Watched the video. Honestly, it's only a little worse than a large unnamed group ride to the Blocko Party this summer. The drivers here sure weren't stupid enough to exercise their right of way when there are 100 bikes running reds together. I'm not saying it's right but the point is to avoid any fight whatsoever. There are bigger things in life to worry about than a bunch of bikes making a lot of noise!

....I'm probably biased because I like said noise though.

It isn't exactly rational to drag a man out of his vehicle and beat him, severely, in front of his wife and infant child.

Pfft little kids at heart don't carry knifes and stab people.
There are 3 kinds of people in this world.
The kind that can stab people
The kind that can't
And the kind that talk smack about doin things that they instigate others to do for them.

Again, he is lucky to even be alive. Those riders acted out of rage just as he did fear. Both sides were incredibly stupid but the driver ultimately had the choice to control the actions of all of those riders...yet he choose to run one over, endanger his family, and attempt to out run a bunch of SS bikes.

...and seriously, I have no sympathy for his actions that put his wife and child in danger in the first place!

Think back to elementary school bullying, we simply weren't aware of knives back then lol

I dont think 500+ people ride to the blocko in one group, and I have never seen any group ride in the GTA even come close to the **** that happens on these rides... The site I read the posts on is stuntride.com, so you get the idea on what a large number of the people on these kind of rides like to do...No plates, and we own the road with wheelies............. Thing is some people get scared, some people actually like that and will cheer you on, but then theres the other people that just don't give a **** about your big ride or wheelies.....Maybe they got somewhere to be, maybe they hate motorcycles in general. Point is get into a pissing match and get in front of them, dont be surprised if you get your *** run over

And again, he was dealing with a bunch of criminals who obviously were putting the safety of himself, and his family at risk, and he did the right thing by trying to get away from them. His failure was in not getting away, not in taking the action.

I get that, I'm not the aggressive type but do have aggressive riding buddies that will brake check cars =/

But yeah the group ride I was on was large (100ish?) but the lead explicitly told everyone not to pull any stupid stuff lol I can't imagine what 500+ pulling stunts in public roads would sound/feel/cause.

Can we at least agree that everyone was stupid? In the end there's injured (the rider arguably more than the driver..) and nobody won any awards!

I can say that the riders were stupid. Literally criminally so. I can't say the same about the Rover driver, without knowing what really started the whole thing. If it's the same sort of issue as with the driver in the other video, I cannot then blame the Rover driver at all.

As I always say, all it takes is for 2 stupid people to antagonize each other & all common sense is lost

so it looks like

-hooligan ride
-rover aint having it
-white gsxr had words with driver and punches him
-driver punches rover into full speed
-riders catch driver and give him full speed punches

one bad decision leading to another

On an unrelated note, that's the best advertisement for a Range Rover that I've ever seen. I may start shopping for a RR Sport.

"They have the world believing a lie." Funny thing about that; some people are quite capable of viewing video evidence and then coming to their own, independent conclusions.

Definitely great ground clearance.

Without getting into what triggered the whole thing, bikers at 100% fault.

I'd also like to give kudos to RR driver for trying to avoid the riders and not running over more.

Wheres Turbodish when you need him.
