Fak her right in Pus**: feminists need to suck the big one!

That's why you don't make waves in-front of a reporter with a camera......... He executed poor judgement and is now the focus of a mob. Who put him/them in that position?

Imo, it all comes down to poor judgement, which is transferable between ones personal and professional life.

Have you ever "executed poor judgement"? Dude wasn't even in front of camera when he started laughing about it. Chick came up to him and put him on the spot. What is he gonna do? Suddenly start opologizing cause he's on camera with his buddies still watching? He would get called a pussy by his friends (and rightfully so) for backing down. He didn't know this was going to go viral at that very moment. How could he? Yes, he said some crude things but he's basically the victim of bad luck. I've said PLENTY of things MUCH worse than what he said.

Only if you're job is related to customer service. And even than, that's questionable. You know anyone working at a trading floor of a bank. A lot of those guys say things that are WAAAY worse and swear regularly. Somehow this "bad judgement" doesn't effect how well they can trade stocks and make millions of dollars for their employers.

So these guys aren't afraid to step out of line and take risks. Maybe these guys ARE the cream of the crop and are better employees than other people. Maybe their job performance is great and what they do outside of work has absolutely no bearing on their job performance. I know who I would NOT hire. I would not hire a sheep who follows the crowd and complains about every little insult and setback in life. A joke of a man with no back bone. Basically, I would not hire someone like you.

Oh Roasted, that's just adorable, thank you for trying. Do not hire me then. :p

Clearly he's a despicable human being. I'd love to be around him and his loved ones right now, making all the right cooing sounds in support of course, while secretly enjoying watching him writhing in agony. Many bad and uncomfortable things will happen to him in the immediate future and hopefully beyond. I'd like to be there for the good stuff now tho. And then maybe check back in, as friends are wont to do, every year to see if he's still hurtin. If he were'nt so greasy looking maybe he could be a country singer. Be well.

So you are saying that it was her fault? Come'n.

At some point, people must own their own actions. A guy cannot keep saying forever "it was the beer" or "it was the POS reporter" or "gangsta rap made me do it". Sooner or later, it catches up with him.

She PROVOKED the situation. This caused major backlash. If she didn't go and involve the other people would this have happened? Who knows? But, she went out of her way from doing an interview and pulled others into the interview. Because of this she has now caused a guy to be fired. If he worked for Hydro One or at some burger joint making minimum wage. Either way, sad day for all of this.

Again, I have zero sympathy for these reporters who put themselves into this situation. If she didn't want this to happen, pull people away from the large crowd and do your interview.

But seriously, she is doing a interview of fans after a sports game. You don't think there will be a few drunk people there?

Clearly you're a despicable human being. Much more "despicable" than this guy. Dude makes a joke not intended to hurt anyone while you want to watch a man suffer. You're a peace of ****. You should watch what you post online lest it go viral one day and you loose your job. For example, the above post.

Maybe you should take it for the sarcasm that it is. Read my earlier posts, 60, 95 for context. But f you anyway.

She called them out and had them take responsibility for their actions. Like a boss. Good for her! This is not a one time incident. It is a growing fad that needed to be addressed.

Civilized discussion has left the building..... Lol.

His poor judgement was in making the wrong choice between saying "no comment" and going off on a rail the other way.

I sold you and you sold me.

I posted the same thing in my other thread where Harper is trying to criminalize any criticism of Israel and also bill C-52.

Seems like George Orwell is quoted frequently these days in Canada.

Dark days of police state are coming.

That's a myth I am going to say .... these settlements do not exist. A position with base 106K/year + bonus (I can imagine) is impossible to terminate without cause at "very little cost". I can also imagine, that his lawyer will do his best to contest "termination with cause".

Assuming that he is a salaried worker, they will terminate him "with cause" but still probably give him the minimal severance pay that he would be entitled to for an immediate termination "without cause".

If he is a contract worker, the contract terms will undoubtedly have an easy-out clause that Hydro One will be able to invoke.

Either way they will require him to sign a release affirming that he accepts any offered termination pay on condition that this will comprise the final settlement of all claims he may have against Hydro One.

He has the option to refuse any severance offer, in which case Hydro One's fallback position is to keep their money in their pocket and terminate him "with cause" with no severance pay at all. He would then have to initiate a lawsuit against Hydro One. He would be doing so with no money in his pocket other than whatever personal savings or lines of credit that he might have. He would need to hire a lawyer and probably pay a retainer too. I don't imagine that there would be a surplus of lawyers who would want to take on this case on a contingency basis when it has dubious prospects of being winnable to any significant monetary award.

You're right. Expressing your opinion is bad judgement if the opinion doesn't match the majority. Martin Luther King's famous speech should have read "no comment" too. He got shot for it, it was bad judgement. What an idiot.

Are you seriously comparing MLK to this DBag??

You're an idiot.

You're entitled to your opinion. Apparently, this dude is not entitled to his though. The content or the validity of the opinion is not what I'm arguing here. I don't think that joke was funny either.

.

Please don't tell me that drunk people can do whatever they want. That would be quite alarming. :p

Look, we are back to the same. You are saying EXACTLY the same in your previous post... You just wrote "she has now caused a guy to be fired". Is he an innocent victim in your eyes?

Then you suggest that drunk people cannot be held accountable for what they do?

When does Shawn Simoes become responsible of his actions, then?
