Did you exercise today?

Been slacking hard still
i think i only got 2 strength workouts in last week
2 bikes indoors... but my bike trainer is on the fritz, and here comes another circuit board for it, 2nd time in 4 years.
if it fixes it i might sell this one and get a different brand one as im tired of dealing with this.
turns me off from working out at all if i have to troubleshoot as i bought this expensive piece of equipment to make my life EASIER lol

Squeeze and I are on matching CCM stationary bikes from the 70s. (I think they're from the 70ss based on their cool orange and brown colour schem) $15 garage sale specials. I don't either one has a working timer any more but we just go by kilometers.

today was leg day and upper/mid back

christmas or no christmas, today is core day, all the gyms are closed but I dont need any equipment for that.

Kind of wished we got a ton of snow so I'd get a harder workout

Finally got out on the bicycle this morning. Two of my shortcuts were piled with snow and had to go a different way. I was going to try to push through the snow but it was more than 2 feet high and 4 feet wide. I guess that is called wisdom (or a candy ass). My time was 10 minutes slower than usual too many beers and desserts. :ROFLMAO:

This week is great for working out. No meetings, just monitor emails and catch up on some reading for work...Great workout today but starting to get to the max weights I can lift (50lbs for curls)...

Need either more weights to my PowerBlocks with expansion packs...or figure out something else.

Use kids for weights. The squirming helps your stabilizer muscles. You have a bunch of different weights at your disposal.

Tried out the sex swing / TRX today...hard to balance but def cool concept and seems great for travel to take along.

Try focusing on tempo. Slower movements, more time under tension and it'll make that 50lbs seem way heavier.

Yesterday was when I was cleared to get back to working out so I did legs and abs. Used the TRX for oblique crunchs, took me a couple attempts to figure it out. After three rounds of attempts Kyle just lay all tangled on the floor 🤣

Tonight is some upper body work. Doing a new program where I focus more on the tempo forcing me to lower the weights a bit.

Thanks! Been looking for some new variations once I can easily handle the 50lb weights. So many variations…

As for the TRX…wow…talk about a workout! Never expected that. The hardest part is balancing!

Thinking of taking it to the cottage but then I realized I won’t touch it!
