Did you exercise today?

I had this wild idea that i was gonna do this more this winter. But the winds are wild and the commute is just under an hour each way.
Might consider it when it gets back around 0C.
In the meantime im on my bike trainer in my basement
Last 2 days I walked instead. Those winds are brutal.

I believe you mean Bulgarian. But they are great and awful at the same time 😅
haha I know what you mean, its like strength, cardio and balance training all at once, feels pretty intense, but great for your legs and knees.

Knock on wood, I feel better after doing single leg deadlifts, my right knee feels 'normal' and strong.

Good workout today.

Shoulders and legs. Plus got to play around with my newest bit of kit.

ANCORE cable system. Not cheap at all but def versatile.

With that, if anyone is looking for a Spud Inc cable pulley system let me know. It’s listed for sale but free to a GTAMer.

All that core building worked out for me.
Out walking the dog and i caught my boot on a lip in the sidewalk and stumbled, arms back at my side and chin forward straight for the concrete.
Thought that i would be face planting hard but ended up recovering almost gracefully with my face coming within inches of contact.
Went home and gave the skierg a hug.

Good workout today. Chest and triceps.

ANCORE is great for triceps work. Much easier than the Spud Inc (but way more expensive). Also good for ab twists. Need to figure out more exercises with it.

Besides that 3km walk to pick wife’s car up from mechanic, and a 30min walk on the treadmill at home.

Super annoying as if you put your foot too far forward it speeds up. Too far backward and it slows down. Really need to focus on foot placement.

Started morning off with 30 pushups and 30 crunches.

While doing crunches I wondered whether they do anything for a gut…

The top 2 results were exactly opposite of one another…WTH!

those crunches def will make your gut stronger and harder, but to be able to see that coveted 6 pack you have to drop your body fat under 14% (at least this is how it works for me :)

I need to figure out my level of fat...I'm sure there are ways to measure it.

Dexa or old fashioned calipers. I did a lot of dexa scans in my uni time by participating in studies, and now my running coach (through my t&f club) is very experienced with calipers so it's not that hard when you know a "guy". And once you did it a few times it's very easy to guess based on your weight/look/muscle performance. :)

if you have a few bucks to pay for your couriosity:

P.S. from my personal experience those scans always disappointing - many times I was estimating my fat under 10% especially days when I cut weight before tournaments and scan would show "only" 11-12% at best LOL my genetics definitely would never let me win any posing competitions
