Daily sports car?

Beautiful!
Keeping those satin black wheels clean is no joke!
Yeah. Brake dust is pretty lame.

Next year I'm thinking a wrap and new wheels. We shall see!

At least I could sleep in the wagon.

Wasaga is closer. Sell house. Move to Wasaga. Buy M5 wagon….

Profit!
Sell the house and embrace the single life mp.

Lets see how the used sports car market is next year as more mortgages become due for renewal at higher rates.
I expect the used sports car / toy market to tank very quickly. Not good for anyone selling motorcycles, boats, toys, secondary properties.

Very good for those that have cash on hand, access to credit, etc.

First 2 bits of aero kit installed, front lip and side skirts. Also swapped out the front grille from chrome to gloss black.

Car is on winter 18's, lowering springs with wheel spacers.

I did buy the rear aero in a 3pc kit but just as i arrived back home they called me to say the factory just released a 1pc rear aero kit. Ordered that and will wait for it to arrive (3-4 months from Germany) and see if that fits. It's all designed for the sedan which seems to have the same dimensions where it counts as the wagon, so i expect it to fit. If it does I'll return the 3pc and call it a win. They also ordered me a rear spoiler that goes on top of the hatch. The AMG comes with a small lip spoiler from factory that I'll have to remove to fit the aftermarket one, shouldn't be an issue.

Plans for next year is;
-Dyno tune to smoothe out the torque hit
-Rear aero install + spoiler
-Full wrap (i've decided on the colour, i plan to surprise you guys tho)
-New wheels in a colour to match the new wrap

And that will complete the build.

Observations on first time driving a lowered car with an aero kit; Thankfully it still sits high enough that almost all speed bumps and inclines i encountered are not a problem except getting in and out of my own garage . So i now get to practice daily on attacking inclines at an angle. C'est la vie. I also have to consciously step further out of the car or when i try to take a step or the heel of my foot gets caught on the side skirts. 🤦‍♂️

What wheels are you considering? Forged? 3 piece?

Also, does anyone make front lip guards? Some vendors make kits that one can bolt on underneath to take the hit and get replaced when they are worn down:

Don't you have a mopar? Aren't you supposed to leave the yellow splitter guards on to fit in with the club? I kid.

As for those guards, I'm not convinced. Sure they take the wear but they also increase the force on the expensive splitter. I think a smarter solution would be feelers (like on bike pegs) that make a noise just before you hit and then move out of the way. That tells you to change something and doesn't damage the splitter. If I wanted wear points on the splitter, they need to be directly over bolts so the load has a nice path.

Haven't looked into it at all. Want to maintain my stance so I'll have to do some research for sho!

I was looking the other day at splitter guards in case I was too low. Thankfully I don't think I'll need any but I saw this was a popular option.

How good is it? /Shrug. I suspect they might move around or fall off eventually but at least reapplication is easy.

....the number of people that still leave those banana peels on to this day...drives the rest of us on forums, nuts.

FCA even tried to deter this movement by changing the protectors to pink but folks still went crazy buying and selling them on ebay lol.

If you decide to go for custom made wheels and want to work with Premier Tire, I'd recommend speaking with Zsolt.
Very knowledgeable guy and extremely patient with you when going back and forth with design/colour considerations.

He is based out of the Rexdale location.

Btw, some people on the Audi and BMW forums like to get wheels from BC forged directly as they help save you some money on the import/duty fees.
Made in Taiwan and shipped to Florida for inspection and then directly to you. This is for both 1 and multipiece forged wheels.
