Daily sports car?

Well in a move that will surprise absolutely no one here. I did a thing..

Jaguar Ftype R

Long story short; nothing wrong with the Benz. Just decided I wanted a legit sport experience. Guess I'm going down the mid life crisis hole early.

More pics to come after the mechanic and the detail shop get done with it.
Fak. Im negotiating on an F type S ragtop right now, we’re still a few dollars apart, but I’m hopeful. There aren’t many SVRs out there and Jag just ended production, I’m hoping they hold value like an E Type.

I drove an XJR for a long time, it was a joy to drive and reasonable to maintain. I did have the fastest 100 to 0 of any car I’ve owned.

a jag commercial? i haven't watched TV in probably 10 years, so i'm behind on all the ads these days.
The commercial chilled me.

The car maker version of Bud Light Dylan Mulvaney ad.

You driving that beast in the winter?
Yeah. Winters being thrown on tomorrow.

It's already seen salt. Will be vigilant with the corrosion removal and rust proofing application.

Anywho I'm not one to garage queen my ****. I bought it to enjoy it.

I'll just have to run it in snow mode and remind my right foot it's a nice slow civic...😈

I like the way the verts look with the top down..I guess that's true for most verts.

Fun fact, V6 uses the same block from the V8. So it weighs almost the same and takes up the same room in the engine bay.

The market for these has crashed in the last few years...we shall see..

Why not? All aluminum construction, nothing to rust.
Sadly they did cheap out on some subframe pieces. Looks like cheap steel from India. It's happy to start corroding.

Huge congrats. They sound heavenly. I remember seeing one in person when I was back in Mexico and fell in love with it. I hope to see or listen to your Jag

@Mad Mike

If you end up snagging it (or another one) i have a spare set of OEM wheels with the carbon inserts. I'm panning to fix them up and sell them. I'll give you a discount if you`re interested. I have another OEM set for my winters.

While that commercial doesn't appeal to me, I'll wait for the actual cars to come out before I pass judgement. If they follow the design of the iPace , I'll be very happy. Their C-X75 concept looks amazing.
If I wasn’t such a pansy (or cheap) with used luxury cars the iPace looks fantastic!

I wouldn't touch the F in a V6, unless I found one of the rare 6 speed manuals. I'm only interested in an SVR, they are AWD with the 575hp 8s.

With the recent freefall in Jaguar prices, I'm very tempted to pick up an 3.0 XF AWD as a winter beater. With a few cheap but laborious mods, they can be very dependable cars.

What in the actual F.
Apparently, it's killing prices in the Jag market, new and used.

Ya think Jaguar picked the right time to hop on the hard left WokesWagen?

Now that’s baller…a Jag beater.

The old owner of Robert Motors would be spinning in his grave.

The 6 has a very disappointing noise. One of the worst imo. The 8 on the other hand is glorious.

Eh? You said Ftype S, those are V6s. Unless you meant the V8S?
