Daily sports car?

I like the way the verts look with the top down..I guess that's true for most verts.

Fun fact, V6 uses the same block from the V8. So it weighs almost the same and takes up the same room in the engine bay.

The market for these has crashed in the last few years...we shall see..
I wouldn't touch the F in a V6, unless I found one of the rare 6 speed manuals. I'm only interested in an SVR, they are AWD with the 575hp 8s.

With the recent freefall in Jaguar prices, I'm very tempted to pick up an 3.0 XF AWD as a winter beater. With a few cheap but laborious mods, they can be very dependable cars.

What in the actual F.
Apparently, it's killing prices in the Jag market, new and used.

Ya think Jaguar picked the right time to hop on the hard left WokesWagen?

Now that’s baller…a Jag beater.

The old owner of Robert Motors would be spinning in his grave.

The 6 has a very disappointing noise. One of the worst imo. The 8 on the other hand is glorious.

Eh? You said Ftype S, those are V6s. Unless you meant the V8S?

EDIT: Ohhh SVR...lol

Well @Mad Mike as always, you're welcome to take a close look at the R anytime.

Maybe there are different iterations? I don't know. Those sound straight piped, maybe it's the exhaust completely neuters them? I've been around a few when they gave them the beans and it was bad.

They come with a baffled exhaust as well, maybe it was in quiet mode?

Speaking of, I think my quiet mode is non existant..or at least i can't tell the difference from inside the car. I read up that if the fuse for the valves blow it just stays open

The R8 in the neighbourhood has switchable exhaust. He played with it a little when he got it. Since then he just leaves it in loud mode. Even in quiet mode the R8 is a lot louder than his GT3. His garage has more money in it than all of his neighbours combined.

Well in a move that will surprise absolutely no one here. I did a thing..

Long story short; nothing wrong with the Benz. Just decided I wanted a legit sport experience. Guess I'm going down the mid life crisis hole early.

More pics to come after the mechanic and the detail shop get done with it.
Beautiful colour combo. What year is it?

2016 - Metallic British Racing Green. Wheels are aftermarket and are more gold then the classic bronze colour combo.

Friend of mind has an 2018 F type ragtop awd triple black and it’s a hoot! I didn’t miss having a manual one bit.

The ONLY draw back I found was limited storage for a weekend getaway. Wife and I debating. The coupe solves this but, the wife wants a drop top.

Just need more time to convince her……..

Meanwhile, she wants us to buy a morris minor vert another friend took her for a rip in. I may have poor judgement and choices but, hers is terrible! Unless it’s her decision on a second husband which is me. Good decision there. Me on the other hand………

Kidding! I’m happy! If we argue over toys and nothing else, life is good!

Well i debunked the exhaust 'not working' today. First time i actually rode around with the windows down. Lord i must be pissing people off, this is great!

No custom plates on this one? Or just not yet?
Still have to sell the wagon, plan to swap that plate over after.

I've tried a few custom ideas but they seem to be taken for the most part.

Some initial out and about pics, terrorizing peaceful Burlington.

Looks good and again I love that colour combo as it's sporty yet classy. Those look like Vossen wheels (I want the same one's and in that colour for my white F150).

Looking into Jag it seems they weren't making any money on the F-Type so going all electric makes sense as the only place they were making money was on their luxury Land SUV's and that's more the clientele to buy EV.
