Meh, anytime an engine is located behind the driver I consider it "rear mounted"

I'm more of a skiier.
That's awesome. I haven't seen a classic lotus on the road in a long time. I don't love the ski bases being exposed to the blast of snow and salt. Carrying them upside would mostly fix that.
A friend's brother has had a few Elans, a Europa, and a few Esprits, one a JPS. He's moved on. Ordered a new Emira a few weeks ago.

$25K nets you a 150K-200K km version though. Still, Honda reliability, right?
I've noticed a rather wide spread, between kijiji and bat, when it comes to mileage.
An additional $5-$10K spent on a bat car, usually means much lower mileage, which I'd prefer......even with the high quality, these jewels are nearing, or over 20yrs old.....
Just need to find one in white.......without a red interior.
They're not my choice. I've driven one and it felt boringly slow unless you kept it high up in the rpm all the time.
