That's awesome. I haven't seen a classic lotus on the road in a long time. I don't love the ski bases being exposed to the blast of snow and salt. Carrying them upside would mostly fix that.

Now's a good time of the year to buy a convertible so what's your choice in one with a $25,000 budget? Only necessity is that it needs to be an automatic trans (I know, I know).

They're not my choice. I've driven one and it felt boringly slow unless you kept it high up in the rpm all the time.You're right.
