mine doesnt slow its pull till about 200kmh.


cars can be faster than bikes because they have an aerodynamic advantage...no flappy bits of clothing, or a gaping hole where the rear wheel disrupts airflow.
 
yea Gus the guy who built my bike from Max. V was telling me about his expiriance with a Zo6 that came through. its 1400 hp he owns an engine shop and specializes in turbos. Gus has a hell of a busa to but he said he only beat him by a bike length whitch is S%^* all consitering how powerful this busa is and Gus is a hell of a rider to. Another guy i talked to there in the same group of vettes had a 300 shot C5 he was running the 800hp, and another guy i talked to has a 650hp Z06 he had a 1 of a kind alcohole injected supercharged and a hell of alot of other mods. and thas only some of the cars there. if that civic is such a big shot he should go there to humble him a little. and the funny part is you know what they would tell him i dun wanna waste my fuel :D . seeing how this is a bike forum S*(& did you ever see the old school stretch/ slammed/ chromed GSX that thing is a beast and you would never know it. most of those muscle cars look slow compared to this guy when he launches. he was the reason that i got it done to my bike i was so impressed. it was like an explosion of anger.

I enjoyed this thread. LOL

I think a heavily tuned up civic can beat a stock 600cc sportbike.

But, if a rider modifies the 600cc sportbike for drag racing,

Racing tire,
tune-up engine (750cc or 1000cc)
tire warmer
gear ratio and sproket adjustment.
(Anti-roller over bar - optional)

actually, i have seen test like that on car and driver, as well as motortrend i believe... jet don't have good ET for 1340... of course, we all know how fast a jet can go... i'll try look for some links for this...

I have a Nigerian friend.... he will race any 750cc bike up to 60 meters.

who wants to step up to him? he will race anything under 750 ANYTIME, ANYPLACE!!

I heard Suzuki only wants $140 for a tune-up... now I just gotta decide if I want a 750 or a 1000 motor for that.

I WAS BEHIND A RED LIGHT IN HIGHWAY 7 WITH 2 VERY RICED UP CIVICS IN FRONT OF ME RACING. THEY VERE ALL REVING AND **** THEN THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN I WENT BEHIND ONE OF THEM AND AND AS SOON A ONE OF THEM "WON" BY PASSING THE OTHER I PULLED IN BEETWEEN THEM AND PULLED AWAY.

lol oh there sure are a hell of a lot of fast fackin cars out there these days....but then again there sure are hell of fast bikes out there these days, I hate seeing races that are basically a 1000 hp viper with like nuff sh|t done to it vs a stock gsxr 1000, ofcourse we know thatll be an insane run and likely the car will walk the bike hands down, I seen it happen!! But rather why not put that 1000 hp viper against a done up busa?? they wanna go all out witht he car, then the biker should go all out too, why not ghostrider on his 500+ hp busa?? he would rip cars apart on one wheel at 200mph........make them fair, in this case a 500+ hp civic?? why not race like a nicely done up 750........ it doesnt look to nice when you lose in your $70,000 viper with $20,000 worth of mods done to it to a stock zx10r...... and I have seen many supras n what not done up to the t|ts head to head with zx10s/r1s etc at around 180/190 mph...... but 800 hp vs 160 or so and $100,000 worth of car/mods vs $15,000 worth of stock bike is a huge difference..... :D turbo busa their ***
 
I didn't manage to read through all 7 pages of this thread but my coworker knows of this civic you are speaking of. Under the hood it has a prelude engine from the last gen preludes we saw here that is done to the nines and turbo charged.
 
i saw a buddy of mine in florida get pumped by a supra, on his turbo busa.....

so its not a for sure win at any point with any bike.....

if u guys find matt the owner, ask him how much i hated on him lol and called him out ect.....


but end of the day, it was a fast car, very fast, and thats the point of these 7 pages no? that his car would beat some 600's?
