there are clips on youtube of turbo K20 civics beating 600cc from 35mph roll on.


yea...600cc are good off the launch, but on the highway, won't beat a good k-civic turbo
 
but...ahahahah...it's still a Civic.

Methinks way too many people watched The Fast and the Furious and perhaps took it way too seriously.

A couple minutes after I arrived at the track today, there was a turboed integra leaving, was able to spin the wheels in 3rd at least. I don't know what times it was running at the track, but it was deffinately able to keep up to a 600.

Cayuga had some 11 sec civics this past weekend. I once got blown away by a civic really hard with my sv650. Every gear he was pulling away ...lol first time ever a lil car like that fed it to me!! With my cbr1000 i dont think he'd stand a chance though :)

Any high hp fwd car is going to be extremely traction limited - an 11 second civic is going to gaining a lot of ground in that last 1/8th when it can finally put the power down and is probably a roll-on monster. I havent been beaten by any civics yet, but I dont doubt that there are some street driven civics that will pull me on a roll.. and I trap 10+ mph faster than the 600's I have run into at the strip.
