Civic vs. 600

then there was RCBH (red civic black hood), sleeperish type of a civic, minus the exhaust pipe out the front bumper.
That was Tattoo's car, he now has a green one running mid 10s (Street driven)

Ricks car (untchbl) was fast for it's time but it was more word off mouth,or should I say broken telephone that got all the hype up.

How is Mike anyways? last i heard he came pretty close to getting pinched for a whole bunch of stuff...

Redliner. You the same dude from the old gtasr days? Judgez24 here :)

I think i know who you guys are talking about. If this guy is a 93 white honda civic bubble back, then its Mike. The car is pushing between 400 - 500 Whp i believe. His father owned a machine shop and the guy built the car up to the tits. In the 1990's he was known by the whole street racing scene and his car was untouchable. They even did a documentary about him on speed channel. I know this because he's my nieghbour. And sorry if you guys already discussed this, i didn't really want to read through 41 pages to find out if anyone knew

yea...I don't understand either why people drop so much money into these cars, spend it on a proper car. Its like guys trying to soup up a Ninja 250...you can only get so much out of it.

I miss my 88 Mustang 5.0 with a Dech kit. :(
(not the one in the pic lol)

Omni,
They did more than body kits. There was a lot of research into suspension/handling.

DECH Motorsports was founded in 1985 by Derek Hanson, seeking to provide an attainable high performance vehicle for racing enthusiasts, at an affordable price. Starting out with just a few dedicated customers, DECH set out to change the face of affordable high performance automobiles throughout Canada.

Utilizing a vast knowledge of suspension, DECH set out to analyze all the performance parameters of the car, and evaluate which modifications would best elicit the desired level of handling neccassary to out perform everything else on the street, and the track. Designing and testing numerous types of coil springs ( using spring rate test equipment not just seat of the pants testing ) and combing the damping attributes of Koni struts and shocks, the net result was a car that could lap the track with ease and still comfortably convey their owners to and from the course, without shattering vertebrae. These early DECH Mustangs were custom built to owner specifications, and came with a base horsepower rating of 240 HP.
