you want to build a fast street car? Start with a '69 or older body.
There are street legal 9 and 10 second cars out there but they all have mountain motors. Remember bottles are illegal on street cars now.

Come down to the track some weekend and see what is required for 10 second pass. It'll give you a new appreciation for the tools at Timmies with the "fast cars".

:D i know a 12 sec mazda blue 323.. best was 12 with bottle...this years best was at 12.9 with a clutch that was about to go... n blown motor eh? if you kills most of your time on cayuga on friday test and tune night you probably know this 323...

and yes that thing blew my 600 on hwy on rain day... and he still talks about it sometime... :D and my gixxer that time was doin 12 with my ****** launch....

Good thing I installed reverse on the bike so I can take down some hondaaaaaaz and give them the finger at the same time.
 
A Honda over a 600? What 6' is that? No, What Honda is that? -A civic- Really? Dude has to have some engine enhancements. WTF? I don't believe it, I'd have to see that $hit. I'd probably vomit but, see it, I must.
