How fast do you have to be going before you can get 525 hp to hook up in a Miata? It sounds like fun, but it also sounds like a 172 ticket as the thing will be ridiculously tail happy.
I’m partial to the NC simply as I like the look, and appreciate the newer safety features that made its way into it.
Had a chance to buy the top of the line NC for 11k before I bought the WRX. Almost bought it, but it had some issues I couldn’t get over and…it would have been a stupid decision. So I bought a motorcycle. LoL.
If I ever come into 20-30k which isn’t needed, or an LOC, then I’ll put the money toward an ND as I love those…or the new 86.

I remember an old Top Gear episode (before it became a scripted 'comedy' show) where they tested various convertibles by measuring how fast they could go before a wig would blow off.
I've always been under the impression that baldness and convertibles go hand-in-hand...
My grandfathers hair went white before 30. If I followed the same path, I was going to pick up a convertible jag and driving gloves. Thankfully that didn't happen.
I don’t know….old school Jag, driving gloves…belongs in /oldschoolcool.
Especially if you’ve got one of those horribly unreliable (but gorgeous) V12 XJS.
Worked for Jag for 7 years. Loved every day of it.
XJS was very low on the list (but above most of modern jags available at the time).

my buddy just bought a small compact car because his F150 was costing him $150 every 3 days to travel to work and back....for $300/week...he'd rather just buy a cheapo commuter and keep the F150 to tow the toys up to the cottage.
This is also a guy that has everything paid off (house, cottage, boats, cars, etc.) so he's not wasteful with his money.
