As I previously said, I don't think that Ford had intended to call Dale a pedophile. I believe his explanation that it was what was going through his mind at the time, given what he stated he thought the situation to be, based on my interpretation of the original words. To me the issue is that he continues to spout lies about what HE knew, at the time, and reported to police. He blames it on his neighbour, who supposedly told him about the lurker. Ford has zero credibility. What he says changes direction like the wind.

I know you have a hard on for Ford but come on. Dale is doing what is right and legal to clear his name. There are many out there who believe he was taking photos of Ford's children which is an outright lie and ford knows it. When your a mayor of a city you can't just say anything you want. What was said in the interview was a pure smear job trying to discredit Dale when in fact Dale was doing some good investigative reporting. When Mayor wants to use his influence to purchase public park land to make his house bigger I'm glad reporters are on it.

Ford is nothing more than a spoiled child who doesn't believe he should suffer consequences for his actions. This lawsuit will be a good wake up call. We have free speech but you are not free from the consequences on those words.

Keep cheering for a tax money wasting lier.

Put yourself in the reporter's shoes. I think anyone would be doing the same thing that he is doing.

Imagine Ford goes on TV and maliciously lies about you, what you do, and your intentions... I think you would be serving him with papers too, especially if someone else is paying for your legal costs...

Ford has apologized NOT because he wanted to apologize ( "I stand by every word I said with Mr. Black in my interview").
He apologized because his lawyer told him that it didn't look so good for him this time around (in court).

At the end, Ford may have to settle out of court for $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Don't let facts get in the way of your rage. What Ford said was not an apology. The fact that people like yourself still believe the lies coming out of Fords mouth is exactly why Dale needs to sue. The reporter is in a business where his reputation is all that he has. Listen to the apology. Ford essentially apologized that the media misinterpreted his words (which I believe that they did), while abjectly failing to take back any of the many lies that he told both to the public, and to the police regarding that situation. He blamed those on some nebulous neighbour. He completely failed to take ownership of his own ACTUAL words and actions, which means that his apology was nothing of the sort.

Failure to "Man up" hits the nail on the head. That's what Ford isn't doing. He acts like a child/teenager who messes up, gives an apology, but doesn't accept responsibility for his actions.

"I F'ed up. I said I'm sorry. I can't change the past. Lets move on."

How many times has he "apologized" for different things? How sincere have those apologies sounded? Is he really super, super, super, super sorry? If that didn't sound childish, I don't know what does.

None of the other accusations were known lies but were observations made in a police interview. They haven't been proven true or false.

Thats because that is the story Ford was telling as his excuse for why he ran after Dale to confront or assault him. Both Fords said they had security footage proving it which when Police asked for it turned out to be false. Ford was in possession of Dales cell phone he was using to take picture as he dropped it when Ford went after him for being on public park land and no pictures of Ford's yard or house or children or any of it was on there.


Fords usual M.O. is:

1) do/Say something stupid
2) Deny it (usually this stuff is easily provable like his Leafs game story)
3) Lie more to try and get out of it.
4) Attack anyone who tries to confront him with the truth. Bully and belittle others
5) Only once concrete evidence is proven against him he admits to wrong doing and then claims its cause he is honest.
6) Apologies all around. Usually hollow and never taking actual blame for his actions. Its always somethings fault that got him there
7) repeat.

What Ford calls gravy others call services. For those planning on voting for Ford. Tell me what services you would no longer like that you receive?

Ford has wasted tons of taxpayer dollars on his criminal friends and activities and cancellation fees than what he cut from the budget and now due to a tiny subway extension taxes are going up. What a tax and spend guy he is. How many of his election promises came true? Ford isn't the guy he pretends to be and people need to wake up. He is an elite not a everyday joe. Don't confuse his lack of class with being a regular guy. He is as privaledged as they come.

Has Ford ever had a real job outside of politics? (honest question I don't know)
