It's also a much different time. When I was a kid you could rise to the level of company president through force of will and native intelligence. Now you have to get a degree in bio-ethics, just to get a workie job in a composting company. A self-taught genius would have difficulty finding an outlet for his native ability.

Just very quickly....regarding reality vs expectations....if you park a 6 months old baby in front of the TV it's all down hill from there. I think society does a mind**** on the most vulnerable and plastic minds at the worst possible times of their lives.

Luckily eh? IMHO anyone not on the tax roll has absolutely no business telling someone who actually resides in this city who they should or shouldn't vote for. Let alone ridiculing someone for excersizing their voting rights. Like I give a flying F who the mayor of oakville or any other city is or who the citizens should be voting for. Absurd.

Haha that's so original, I would've never thought of that! I arrived at City Hall at noon and the line up for bobbleheads was already closed.

Absurd. That's a great word. What's absurd is that Toronto has a mayor who has acted the way Sideshow Rob has, and there are people who still support him being in that role.
