Now, exactly, how is that different from every GTA campus I've had the misfortune of spending time on?
Let's take Thomson as the Neo-Libtard counterpoint to Ford...who, really, would you prefer to be running Canada's largest city? Thomson or Ford?
Unless you truly admit you are a trough feeder leeching off the system and your sole purpose in life is to REQUIRE all other citizens around you to fork over a tithe so that you can fund your own quest to be the narcissist queen of the world...yeah, suddenly Ford being mayor doesn't seem so scatterbrained.
Oh and BTW, let's bring just a touch of approved racism into it. While Benjamin Franklin had no formal education (other than apprenticing to be a printer and i'm not sure how much writing that would involve), he was an avid reader borrowing books and creating the idea of the public library. he was self taught but most people with out educations don't do much in the way of reading and the reading they do do is limited to things like romance novels or sports publications.
Thomas Edison's story is similar, while he didn't have much formal education he was home schooled and his thirst for knowledge had him reading and teaching himself.
Go into the average lower class home and you're not going to see a lot in the way of books.

and comparatively, Branson while not having attended university/college he did at least complete the regular school system in England which at the time all you needed. I suspect a lot of his business knowledge has been self taught from reading as his biography lists many books as influences. My point is it doesn't matter where your education comes from, unless you're really lucky, you're not going anywhere if you're ignorant and have no interest in learning.
