Hudak was willing at one point to work with the other parties to rein Rob in if other solutions weren't found (they were). I'm sure he is quite aware of what a sideshow he would be opening himself up to by having the Ford circus as part of the PC act with all the attendant questions like "does Hudak not care about law and order?"

The last Liberal leader was Ignatieff, and what Martin did was tax avoidance (which we all do legally) not tax evasion.

Oh God... Somebody has to explain to Ford that there is a difference between laughing "with him" ... and "at him".
This has the potential to end up in total embarrassment for Ford, why would he even take the risk???? Does he have no advisors???? Arrrgghh, it is a train wreck that I can't stop watching!!

Like that is not already happening! isn't it better if he goes and speaks to them so people have the chance to heard him instead of only hearing a punch line about him?

Maybe you are too optimistic? That ^ would be best case scenario.
Worst case (my opinion) = He is sheepishly embracing his new status as a joke, and is willing to become Jimmy K's new punching bag.
Talkning about Kimmel, anyone can see that Jimmy's so happy, 'cause ratings for his show will go through the roof. I will be watching for sure, Gonzo from The Muppets will also be there !!!! How could anyone say 'no' to that?

On the other hand. How many business owners have we worked for who were considered buffoons by the staff? But, they own the company. How many politicians have we ridiculed? But they are our leaders. How does a pin head become the Governor of Alaska
I'm not supporting ROFOs antics but he's got to be pretty strong in some areas to get that far. I think we all know some very bright people who lack a few key ingredients to push themselves to the heights they so desperately desire. Of course those failings aren't on public display.
