Thanks! May be in that area today so will come south along 13.The route is boring from Waterloo till you get to Flesherton. From there up to Thornbury thru the Beaver Valley it's beautiful. Really neat watching the salmon running the fish ladder.
Where’s this fish ladder? It was interesting to see some colour low in the valley but still green in the surrounding hills. And yes the fish ladder was cool.
Under hwy 26 at Bruce St. Park at Winifrids English pub beside it.Where’s this fish ladder?

One of the reasons for this destination was to visit my cousin. She's lived downtown Thornbury for years.Where’s this fish ladder?
I saw a lot of fisherman…but no fish. One of the reasons for this destination was to visit my cousin. She's lived downtown Thornbury for years.
Me: We're at the fish ladder.
Her: Where's that?
Still a little early in the season. We get a lot of salmon in the Nottawasaga tributary that runs through Hockley Valley. Some years the stream in front of the first tee is so full of them you could almost walk on them.I saw a lot of fisherman…but no fish.
That’s the plan! Keeping an eye out on the Algonquin colours report and I missed last year…but hoping to go this year. That's a heck of a run @mimico_polak ... I'd have happily joined given enough notice but already had plans. Go again in the fall and you'll enjoy the scenery 10 fold and with a buddy or 2 it is more enjoyable.
