Why Android is better than iPhone.

selling fast, shipping times getting rough.

I just placed an order for the 2.6 RMBP, upgraded the ram to 16 gigs and kept the 512 gigs. Estimated shipping time is 3 to 4 weeks, they cant make them fast enough or just not making enough to keep demand high.

<< not a techie whatsoever but I've always found it annoying how Apple users say everyhing else is crap, and then go on and on to try and justify that staement.

You ignore them and they feel the need to press their point.
You smile and nod and they go on forever.
Even the blank look on my face doesn't deter them, now they want to educate me.

All I asked is for them to pass me my (non I)phone

interesting read.... I just might have to apply now.

"Check Out How Apple Brainwashes Its Store Employees--Turning Them Into Clapping, Smiling Zealots"

I know the purpose of the article was to put a negative light on how Apple treats it's store employees, I think it failed.

"By the standards of retailing, Apple offers above average pay — well above the minimum wage of $7.25 and better than the Gap, though slightly less than Lululemon, the yoga and athletic apparel chain, where sales staff earn about $12 an hour. The company also offers very good benefits for a retailer, including health care, 401(k) contributions and the chance to buy company stock, as well as Apple products, at a discount."

"Many technicians, though, wanted to leave but were unable to find equivalent work, according to Mr. Garcia and other former managers, in part because of the weak economy."

Hey, if people want to spend $3000 to surf the web and run MS Office then that is fantastic.
Somebody has to keep those workers employed in China.

There are annoying people everywhere, from bikes, cars, computers to phones, people seem to feel like they need to be missionaries for that product. If someone asks my opinion, I will state why a product is good for me, but if you really want to help someone with a tech decision, you need to first learn what they want and need and then figure out what best suits them after that.

By that standard, no point in that $60k luxury car to go A to B, or expensive watches, or really anything nice when cheaper solutions exist
