Why Android is better than iPhone.

iPhone 5 rumours are really ramping up. Latest is it's going to be 7.6mm thick (4s is 9.4mm), and the data port is going to be magsafe. Should be interesting, can't wait for the launch

This might, *might* be the first iPhone that actually could, *could* interest me.

The current phone is way too thick, blocky and IMHO, unattractive. Also can't stomach the current phones tiny screen. The magsafe would be a neat feature as I enjoy it currently on my MacBook and admittedly, its a great idea.

I have the magsafe on my deep fryer :-)

Get used to it.....

[h=1]Android Dominating Smartphone Market[/h]
iPhone owners under the delusion that they were in the majority, are in fact now in the minority by a margin of 4:1. IDC reports that there were four Android phones for every iPhone shipped in the second quarter. That’s up from 2.5 to 1 in the same period last year.

Android 68 percent of the worldwide market, up from 47 percent last year.

Even my mom has a cheapo Android phone. Its the biggest POS Ive ever used... Small samsung with a slideout kb?

No wonder they're dominating... They put that OS on any piece of junk with a screen

Actually........ in its current form of technological state (outdated), the iphone is more like a Trabant when compared to Samsung G3 and Nexus models....

Looks to be a trendy, hipster sort of vehicle...

iPhone is always the Ferrari, bro

Thats why even RIM fanboys like Sunni are ready to buy into it when the 5 comes out this fall  I guess he's been saving his pennies

I saw a picture of what the 5 is suppose to look like, looks alot like the 4S.

iPhone 4 is the most impressive piece of industrial design in the tech industry so yeah it won't surprise me if the 5 looks mostly similar.

You only need to look at every other product in Apple's portfolio to know that they can't be beat. Everyone tries, nobody succeeds.... and some of the copycats even have to defend themselves in court

Which is actually a strong case from a business perspective. Esp in developing countries and kids with no money starting out with a basic android phone.

Once one gets hooked on Android ecosystem, they will move up to the serious phones like the Samsung and never look back. Apple who?

Whether you care to admit it or not, Apple can't keep up with the rapid pace of handset development that Samsung and others are currently debuting at a blindly fast pace. Breaking new ground and technological boundaries.

The Nexus, the Galaxy, the Note, the new Google 7 tablet....... all huge hits.

An updated iPhone, with a few simple updates once a year simply won't cut it anymore.

Apples hanging on with the iPad lead which is slowly eroding as well.

I guess but that's what people said about Beta, VHS, CD, DVD and BluRay, there is always something better down the line. Apple seems to be doing what Blackberry did and resting on one design.

Just got my galaxy s3 yesterday...I'm in love

Nah, nothing to do with cash, pal. I just don't have blind faith in one make like you do.

I support all the platforms.... I have a Windows PC, Macbook, Playbooks, iPods, Sony MP3 player, Blackberry, and likely soon a Nexus 7 tablet to get a taste of Android.

As for smartphones, one would be foolish to discount the iphone5 as a viable choice. My contract doesnt come up for renewal til next year, and I will enjoy biding my time watching the tech giants duke it out.

Then I'll have to decide whether to try BB10, jump to the Android, or, possibly, if its a quantum leap the iPhone.

You'll know about it when I make my choice. :)

Nexus 7 review, from a biased apple dude.....P.S..it's his site too.

"I was trying to disable the keyboard clicks sounds. Logically, the first place I looked at was the “Sounds” settings. Nope, nowhere to be found in this section. Instead, click sounds settings are buried deep inside the Keyboard settings. It could sorta make sense, but to me, it makes more sense to put every sound settings under Sounds. No?"

Are they not smart enough to put it under BOTH keyboard settings and sound settings?

Quick! To the patent office Batman!
