Havent you noticed he puts that "l.o.l" emoticon EVERYWHERE in all his posts.

its quite funny.
as for the article, yeah, sucks

Damn right its funny! Look down at your crappy Samsung phones and know that you helped enslave those poor children.

Im an Apple user, so I can laugh about this because the slaves who built my phone were actually well compensated.... relatively speaking

ps. its funny because I don't know them

Apple isn't any better. The sad part is With apple they are forced to make an inferior product. Life must be hell for them knowing they are building an Apple product using out of date technology.

Anybody who finds child abuse funny, "because they don't know them", seriously needs to get their head examined.

On a lighter note..... here is something that is truly funny......

Yet another Apple misstep in marketing (first the backpedalling about pulling away from the Environmental regs and facing a public backlash) and now this.....

Apple...... how many more cockups can we produce for you?

:laughing3:

iPhone 5 rumours are really ramping up. Latest is it's going to be 7.6mm thick (4s is 9.4mm), and the data port is going to be magsafe. Should be interesting, can't wait for the launch

if you have to give a percentage of people that root android, how much would you come up with?

I wish i could give you a percentage but i wont pull numbers out of my *** for no good reason :D

But i guess those people with the ooooolder devices mustve whether
a) upgraded to a newer android device
b) changed to an iphone
c) taken matters in their own hands and rooted

Hell they got "jelly bean on the G1" the 1st widespread android phone.
okay its in alpha stage and is very shaky but its impressive what the developper community can try to cram in such a little device ahah

Same as jailbroken iOS, it's near impossible to figure out an accurate number. For iOS, it's been estimated to be as high as 10%, though I would think the real world number is somewhere <5%. I would guess the numbers would be about the same for Android as iOS

Although i have no numbers to support it, id think the number would be higher. As a lot of people will buy android just TO BE ABLE to tinker with the phone.
And on top of it Android doesnt always get all the latest updates with stock-out-of-the-box phones so its more of an incentive to root it as well.
Or at least id like to think

You're forgetting just how many people aren't tech savvy or care enough to screw around with their phones. Out of everyone I know with Android phones, only one has theirs rooted. Same thing with iOS, the tech guys I know jailbreak, everyone else has theirs stock

This is what I find as well. All of the IT/tech/geeks/nerds etc folk I know, rooted/jail-broke their phone before they even bought it, whereas the regular everyday use-my-phone for FB, chat and the odd phone call crowd, are using bone stock OS's on their devices.

Although it is getting easier and easier to root/jailbreak these devices.

The Galaxy Nesus is 99 on a wind tab.

This is no tab, $299 outright. Existing customers can ask for this price promo, new customers have to sign up for at least 1 month of service.

If you take the cheapest plan with the phone, that's $299 + tax + $25 = 362. for a vanilla droid pentaband phone.

We'll be seeing a lot more of this type of deep discounting in the coming months. Apparently Samsung is going to be dropping the price of the Galaxy 3 as well.

This is all in response to apple lowering the price of the 4S now to make room for the 5.
