Who's still riding? (Fall & Winter 2018 Edition)

exposed roots are even worse, like riding on bumpy grease, you have to kind of hop over them somehow or they will get you every time.

... wood pool decks not much better ;) you should upgrade to exposed aggregate.

Going riding right ...

Now!

Was a good day to be out riding. Just tooling around the city. Nice to see lots of other riders taking advantage of it.

Stopped in high park

Sent from the Moon!

Went riding today in the area surrounding Shelburne. It was awesome! Mostly sunny between 7-9°C. Heated gear and long undies helped a lot!

Wanted to go out, but today was "Buy everything for our bathroom reno" day, so $1800, 3 hours of Ikea Hell, and a visit to Lowes later, I'm ready to start gutting the existing crap.

Hopefully our new toilet gets delivered from Amazon tomorrow in 1 piece this time, unlikely the 35,000 pieces the last one arrived in.

Went up to visit my mom (and sis who is in town) up in Wilberforce. Rode of course... 507, Glamorgan Rd and Essonville Rd all in great shape (Glamorgan has it's usual bumps but is otherwise in good shape.)

There were huge delays on the gardiner this morning on my commute. Luckily i almost always use Lakeshore but it wasn't too wet or too cold.

Tuesday afternoon looks promising, and I don't have any work lined up. I may keep it that way.

still going. daylight savings time made todays ride home SUPER dark. need more high vis stuff. my bike / jacket / helmet / boots are all black.

instead of splurging on new gear, i stuck a bunch of black reflective tape on my helmet. next im gonna get a semi-high vis vest with reflective stuff on the sides.

maybe something like this:

you cant even see my chest while riding and i wear a backpack for commuting anyway.

Was a soggy ride in to work this morning.. traffic approaching Vaughn sucked, but not a surprise since everyone freaks out when there is a little bit of rain. My GPS told me an hour delay on 400 south(I wasn't going to take it anyway) so I knew the parallel roads would be jammed as well this morning.

Weather looks like it will make for an "entertaining" ride home this eve.

Still taking the 407? Car was being thrown around all over this morning from the wind

Rain has stopped. Sun is coming out as I write this. Wind is still normal. Roads are still wet but they should dry fast. I'm heading out as soon as it is mostly dry to get a ride in before the wind really starts kicking in.

still riding till the snow drops

Forecast say that's next Monday. My bike's going away tomorrow, looks like this week is the last of the above-zero mornings

Fyi some of the upper tier commuter bags have reflective stuff on front/back.
