Not a turban, but I wore my dinosaur onesie to Chipotle this evening for a $4 Halloween boorito. The dino hood fit perfectly over my RF-1200. :D

Got that wash last night at 2AM -- it was pelting rain and 4c during my ride home from a late one at the office. I redefined my perspective on cold and wet.

Rode today. Car is in the shop. Short trip to work.
Light right but with the temps around 7C in the AM, it was an easy uneventful ride.

It felt warmer than i thought. I actually removed my liner because i was gonna put my windproof/waterproof top above my jacket. Didn't feel cold at all.

Also last night i hit the 33,333km on the bike woohooo (also was pretty nice to ride in)

I'm beginning to think i've acclimated to the season, finally.

EDIT) I'd like to retract my previous statement, as i was full of *****. My hands were SOO COLD by the time i got home last night, in the dark, under the pouring rain.

still going. just bought some rain pants for the **** weather we've been having. tired of bringing extra jeans to work every day!

uniqlo long johns have been a nice addition. still need to figure out keeping hands warm without going the heated grip route.
 
It was snowing a fair amount on the first half of my ride into work this morning. It turned into steady rain the rest of the way in.

did you go for the warm, extra warm or ultra warm long johns?

Why not just go the heated grip route? Cheap and it works.

i think theyre just 'regular' warm. theyre super thin, unlike my last pair from walmart which was almost like wearing 2 pairs of pants..

it hasnt really been that cold yet, so i might go check out the extra/ultra warm ones eventually.

Haven't been out in a week or two now. I'm slumping this year, big time.
 
several riders might show up here tomorrow to ride, we shall see,
everything is going to be slippery as beaver snot :D maybe have to run the tires nearly flat.

Layers! the key to survival, wear layers and change out the wet ones before they make you cold.
 
Out for a buzz this aft, riding conditions unpleasant, turned home after getting 45 minutes out. Very windy and the roads aren't drying -- wet leaves everywhere.

Sounds like the last 2 weeks (with one exception, last Tuesday) in a nutshell.

I almost slipped and killed myself working out on my pool deck today, the wood is covered in leafs, and because it's been raining forever and a day on top of everything it's a snotty mess out there.

The roads everywhere around here are about the same.
