What did you do to your track/race bike today

New Brembo 19RCS to replace the Accossato while it gets repaired. Thanks to Pro 6 for taking care of me.

Managed to just pick one up for $180 all in.
Nice... I am not sure how mechanically inclined you are, it is an easy install but make sure you take pics of the routing of the cables prior to dissembling the old ones.

Do I need a new (smaller) kill switch assembly?

Do I need a new (smaller) kill switch assembly?

A little research revealed this:

The below models require the Starter and Kill Switch Assembly (not included).

Honda
CBR600RR 03-06

Suzuki
GSX-R600 03-09
GSX-R750 03-09
GSX-R1000 03-08

Yamaha
YZF-R6 03-05

In the case of my 2005 zx6r, the stock throttle housing was a lot shorter than the Motion Pro one, so since I have long clip ons I just slid the brake lever and the kill switch assembly towards the inside and slid the clip on towards the outside providing me the space i needed to install the motion pro housing, i also have a brake guard so if I didn't have a long clip on I would have been screwed

Not sure what bike or setup you have.

I have a gixxer so I may just relocate it to the left side since I removed the turn signal assembly.

Sorry, my comment was irrelevant, so I deleted it. It was about me wondering how I didn't think of this before (with stock controls), but then I remembered the OEM throttle, kill switch and starter button are all in one assembly.

In terms of throttle travel, my GSXR is really bad, it's impossible to go WOT at the track without either twisting the wrist down to very uncomfortable position, or doing it in two stages by holding it in mid position with the thumb then grabbing again. At TMP, that's particularly annoying when exiting from T6, I just couldn't ever give it as much juice as it could handle.

Apparently the Motion Pro discussed above is best, but there are cheaper ways (glued cable ties, throttle tubes from other bikes, etc), and I just so happen to want to direct my money towards other things (Ohlins shock comes to mind).

Turns to WOT:

My GSXR: 1/4 turn
R1: 1/5 turn
R6: 1/6 turn

Parts cost like $15 bucks from the Yama stealership. Should I try 1/5 turn or 1/6 turn? It's a 1000, I certainly don't want to be high-siding every day, wondering if the difference between 1/5 and 1/6 is really big?

I already have the r6 throttle tube on and it's still not enough.

I did the zip tie thing. Works fine. Think I went with 2 zip ties all together.

I had the 1 step up from the zip tie thingy and to be honest it just doesn't work properly, now comparing it to the revolver.

But of course, better than nothing

Edit: this is the cheap alternative:
The Rifleman 1/5 turn throttle $25 shipped

What happened to to your Accossato, if you don't mind me asking!?

Sprung a leak around the reservoir inlet elbow. Also caused a minor leak in my track suit as I discovered it heading into turn 8 at Mosport.

Which reminds me, if anyone has an Accossato special wrench for undoing their mater cylinder I would appreciate lending it. Flipping lazy Italians are on vacation for August.

Didn't you just recently buy it? I've heard of Brembo's leaking from the bleeder screw but so far I've been lucky.
What pads are you running on the GSX-R? I have the 19x20 on my 750 with SS lines and stock pads but I feel like there's room for improvement.
