What did you do to your track/race bike today

Sorry I kept stopping by to collect you but you were always first out in Green.
No worries, Dave. I can use some more help the next time I'm out there. Most likely the 11th if the weather is as good as it was today.

I was debating how big a pain it would be to run two motors. One for SOAR, Shubie and St Mustache and another big boy motor for SMP, Mosport and Tremblant. FWIW Franklin Dominguez was using an ex factory motor for 3 years (it only blew up because someone put diesel in it).

Well it doesn't take long to do a motor swap but sounds like a pita to swap for different tracks, would be nice to have a spare though. You don't want more power, it'll slow you down.... I hope. Makes me wonder how used/abused mine was if they run for so long and how down on power it actually was.

Ya i dunno.

I just booked the time off for Tremblant. We'll see how that goes with a stock motor.

I could always just lose some more weight too. Lol

My PZracing gear indicator should be here today. No more banging into 1st on corner entry and almost dying.

I've used a couple of PZ Racing lap timers for a while now. Good kit and decent pricing.

This weekend I sealed the belly pan (for some reason it was wide open). Two weeks ago I changed the fork springs and oil. Ready for mosport next Monday.

Nice, I'm waiting for mine to come in from Dave's. Not by choice, but it was a necessity.

Ordered a set of woodcraft clip ons as well as a Yoyodyne fairing stay to fix the mess I made.

As much as crashing sucks, it's always awesome to add a few upgrades.

this came on my bike, but looking at the msrp of this thing, I really cant justify this over a normal quick turn throttle (which is usually dirt cheap).

Then again, there's a lot of other stuff on my bike I can't really justify either. Oh well.

^ Dave hooked it up, my kill switch/starter assembly, throttle tube, grip, cables etc. got destroyed, so instead of trying to source new used parts, I just pulled the trigger on one of those.

I tried the one on Dave's bike and it's awesome how fast you can go from closed to wide open throttle.

I bought the dirt cheap stuff before and it just sucks, I have learned my lesson to buy quality right from the start (The cable not the girl gigiti). Also turns out that my pull throttle cable was about to break so this saved my weekend.

I test it out and I can't wait to use it this weekend.

I've got one on order for my 1000. The oem throttle housing has the cables come out from the bottom and it rubs like crazy on my bodywork.

What's the price of this thingy? My throttle cables are rubbing the air vent tubes too, which prevents me to tilt down the brake lever as much I wish I could.

I think is about 150 all in, not sure! Call Dave at Competition Cycle or your favorite bike shop

That's a fair price I guess. Will call Dave, might pick up a set of new Dunlop GPAs too while I'm at it :)

That's fairly good pricing. I've always seen $200.
I said "not sure" my memory is as reliable as ...... I forget!
