This is awesome!!!!
I was checking around the SOAR site for the track day bike prep requirements and it basically takes me to the full tech spec were you need sealed belly pans, brake and chain guards etc.
I plan to do all those this winter. But wouldn't mind hitting a Friday before the season is up.
Thanks for giving me hope. I'll put it to the test this Saturday. All I wanted is WOT without having to reposition my wrist to grab more.

I think the PVC pipe will provide a bigger impact. Before installing, I measured the diameter and the difference was a mere 3 mm (that's comparing the 03 gsxr 1000 to the 04 R1).

'08 Gsxr 600 and 750 have different front forks. Different internals, for some reason 600 you can change out compression valving and on 750 it is a sealed non-rebuildable unit. Wtf
Springs are different aswell.

Also---don't wait for the engine covers! Bought my NRC already crashed, then I crashed it again myself, and then I dropped the bike, a coat of spray Tremclad and it's as good as new! Stock covers wouldn't have survived the first crash.

Yup, I'll be doing all the Fast stages next season.
Just be aware you have less wiggle room mid turn. A small twitch can lead to a dirt nap

D/T work and family it is a struggle to get out especially to outlying tracks.
Hoping that can change a bit next year along with a weekend school or two.
I've only been 3 times to track but each day I have been able to feel like I am progressing. It's fantastic. Can't wait to try new brakes and get the suspension setup for my heftiness. I'm thinking that's gonna be huge.
You might be very right, just started the bike in the garage and even revving without riding I think I'm noticing the difference.

All motorcycles must be equipped with a guard (typically referred to as a shark fin) that extends from the bottom surface of the swing arm that protects against accidental contact with the leading edge of the rear sprocket/chain. This can be made of any sturdy material providing it is secure enough to do the intended job as approved by the SOAR tech staff.
y. Drive chain master links must have their spring clip pointing in the direction of chain travel and must be safety wired or have silicone sealant product applied.
