I still instinctively grab the remote from the shelf inside my garage, and then realize I don't need it anymore.Oh thanks for this reminder. I forgot I installed the same so I can open it with my phone. Would have forgotten all year.
Surprised it started. Once it was going your foil tape is unconventional but ok for a short run. I know one guy that ram visegrips clamping off a leaking brake line for years.Long story short. I've been storing my bike at my brother's house in his garage. I recently moved, and can now store it at my place. So a few days ago when the weather was decent I decided to pop the battery back in and bring it over to the new place. Except that while trying to hook it up, I noticed that one of the square nuts from the battery terminal was missing.
I was doing all of this before work, so time wasn't on my side and I had to McGuyver something... I ended up just using some strips of aluminum foil tape.
On a scale of 1-10, how close was I to blowing myself up? 10 being bursting in to flames on the 401.
