What did you do in your garage today..?

On cars, you can trigger the pump with a scan tool. Not sure on a bike.

'Varies bike to bike...
My buddy's F800GSA does it through the ODB computer...
My FJR has a port you can either use a YAMAHA "tool" to close a circuit which allows you to activate the pump... You can also just use a length of wire and a couple of clips.. Or.... You can source the male connector and add a switch for easier ease of use

*Harness not of my design, but that of a friend.

they all said that the amount of brake fluid within the ABS module was insignificant - so to not bother with it.

Sure, it's not a lot, but... 'How long are you going to leave it in there..?
It's my understanding that the fluid inside the pump remains there until the pump is activated... Why wouldn't you want to change it once in a while?
It's one more step... A few extra minutes.
To be blunt... If you're happy with a half ass'd job... Fine.

Dang it!
Now I gotta go find this ODBII tool for a Kawasaki....sigh

I didn't have the nerve, but I was soooo tempted to spin your bike around 5 minutes ago when I went for my lottery ticket......lol.
Lol, I always get my ticket there too, that stupid banner claimed "1M winner here" fooled me.

Started on the crash bar but turns out the 2020 model plastic won’t fit

Fancy. Are you adjusting the idle a lot during a trial or is it mainly bling?
Not really bling. I like to be able to raise the idle a tad on a really cold morning, and then bring it down later. Almost all carbed trials bikes have finger operated idle screws. Idle is very important. That is where the motor spends most of its life.

Monday ... Broke my cbr125. Gradually lost power, then wouldn't idle, then didn't make it home. Hitched a ride (wasn't far) and rescued it with the van. Took the fairings off. Has spark, has compression, has fuel. ??
Tuesday ... Cam to crank timing is correct, valve clearances were in the ballpark but I reset them anyhow. ??
Wednesday ... Drained fuel tank, removed fuel filter. Almost blocked. Rigged up a way to check fuel pressure. Spec 43 psi, measured 32 psi with the clogged fuel filter bypassed with a hose. Pump no good. (Probably the blocked filter trashed it.)
Thursday ... picked up a generic replacement fuel filter at Pro 6, ordered a new fuel pump online. Choice 1 $30 made in China free shipping but expected delivery May or June. Choice 2 $70ish including shipping from Poland, supposedly made in Germany, and expected delivery next week. Picked choice 2. The bad thing is that shipping is only via UPS. Bad. No choice in the matter.

Is this still the 2nd 125 or are you have you gone through more of them? Was this factory in-tank filter?

Second? I can’t imagine what could have gone so wrong with the first that couldn’t be repaired. Parts are so damn cheap on these. I replaced my piston, rings, cylinder, gaskets, and all hardware for less than $150 at the local Honda dealer’s parts counter.

By the way, @Brian P let me know if you’re interested in a Malossi 170 kit. Great condition, just needs gaskets.

Miles, lots of miles. And a newer gen came out. His old one was still working well and he sold it.
