We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

He probably just called up daddies dealer and had him drop off a box pre-rolled.
More likely to have been mommy's dealer, isn't it?

I got back in touch with the store and clarified a few things in the revolver description that seemed a bit odd. Seems I may have bought a slightly rare gun. One of only 400 made. If true I’m quite pleased! Mind you, if Trudeau prevents future sales and trades then it’s immaterial.

I have a few months to become an Olympic marksman. That’s the only way I see a loophole. I’m not too bad with things to be honest. I have a range of basically every type of action which is what I originally set out to do and I mostly got quality pieces which will last with care.

That’s what we all tell ourselves

And the Bloc Québécois calls for an immediate freeze on all gun sales to stop ligitimate owners from buying more .
Truly fuckwits

How much has Canada spent on gun control since the Polytech shootings in Montreal?

How much does a hospital cost?

I would imagine we have spent the equivalent of hiring several hundred nurses and paying them for decades . The scrapped long gun registry would have built a GTA mega hospital .

If the bill wasn't simply grandstanding, that's what they would have done.
Why would you allow the opposite, of what you claim to want to happen, to happen?

If nothing else you can rest assured that all the data in the long gun registry is still there stored in every policing agencies in house database in Canada and accessed daily.

On the upside, it becomes more out of date and less useful daily.

Had a chat with the iinlaws on the weekend. They are city folk and see no reason why personal ownership of guns shouldn't be outlawed entirely. When I told them I took their precious daughter into the woods and had a lot of fun target shooting their jaws dropped.

I spent the morning at the skeet field with a couple friends , just looking around , there was easily 70-80k in guns in our group of 10 . The range employs 6 people , we went through $3-400 in shells and $100 in targets in two hours . The legitimate owners and sportsman put a lot of money into the economy , we do this small level 2-3 times a wk.
the Libs are really barking up the wrong tree with current and future gun initiatives . In my opinion of course .

Agreed, the Liberals are doing the smoke and mirrors thing to cover up their total failures to really protect Canadians.

There are too many "Holy shitt" events:

N.S. Shootings: RCMP "There's that wacko driving a fake cop car and playing dress up cop while owning guns. Holy Shitt he's shooting people."

Forcillo / Yatim incident: Cop "There's Forcillo screaming like a school girl and waving his gun while peeing his pants, typical for him. Let's wait until he cools down. Holy shitt, he's shooting."

A gun is traced back to a gun show in the USA. "Holy shitt, they're being smuggled in"

Me: "Holy shitt, our government is incompetent"

My local store just posted that they sold 3500 handguns recently. That’s a lot.
Wow. What is the average price of a legal handgun in Canada now? Probably close to $1000? Sounds like a boon for the local economy. I suspect people will also be converting cash into ammo to beat inflation. It's probably an incredible investment. It seems super easy for chief stupid to pull the plug on importing ammo. Who cares how many guns are out there if there isn't much to cycle through them?

yep, $1000 would likely be the average for a so-so handgun now. $1500 gets you something nicer. Boutique revolvers and 1911’s are anywhere from 2-4K. Luckily I don’t like either of those really.

The secret to ammo is to buy handguns that also use long gun ammo so it will at least be around for a bit. 9mm might be an issue at some point but I bought dies a while back in anticipation of issues and I’m stocked up for cases, powder and projectiles. I have dies for 38spl and .357 mag so that’s covered. .22 is still dirt cheap comparatively.

If all this nonsense gets passed into legislation, no handgun will be an investment anymore . Cant sell / trade in/ or transfer , then what .
