We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

price list is out.

looks like all ARs are $1337. going to make some people happy but piss a lot of people off.
i foresee most just handing in the upper+lower and nothing else.

What would people do with all those parts if AR15s are prohibited, there would be no market for any of that sort of stuff except illegal crap?

Export? Since you get no money for it keep it for when a future government randomly changes laws again without justification? Use parts to build something fun and legal (10/22 mod?)?

there are a few other non-restricted guns some of the parts will work with (barrels, trigger kits, grips, stock, sights/scopes offc, even take-down pins).
some parts can even be used on airsoft guns as well if you're into that.

Friend is into air soft and the whole dress commando and roll in the dirt thing . They are under pretty serious pressure with the new gun restrictions . It could be the end of thier sport as they know it.

As a Segway, I understand an rcmp senior official was suppressing info about the east coast mass shooting so as not to undermine the liberals and the gun controls they want to effect.
And we keep voting these wanks in. God help us .

still waiting to see what gun was used and if he was licensed. pretty sure I know the answer seeing how it's been crickets.

I thought that information came out? Mostly guns smuggled from the US IIRC.
Sorry, mixed up my west vs east coast. was talking about the most recent one in Langley, BC

In an interesting move, there appears to be a photo of him walking around with a handgun but the news blurred out the gun. wtf. Probably doesn't support the government narrative so make sure the information stays hidden. If it had anything to do with the guns the liberals were banning you know it would have been released five seconds after the shooting stopped.

Liberal circle jerk is picking up steam.

“We came up with this idea of creating this new system of requiring permits. But, meanwhile, we will deny any permits,” Foreign Affairs Minister Melanie Joly explained.

“Put simply, from that moment forward, the number of handguns in Canada will only go down,”

I'm sure the criminals who are smuggling will just automatically stop on Aug 18?

When has this stupidity ever been remotely based on reality? I find it quite surprising that they bother to spend so much time and money on this. I don't understand why they think this is worth the effort or cost. Just to say they are doing something? Wouldn't it be a hell of a lot easier and cheaper to spend the time and money on problem guns (and people carrying problem guns)?

It was all part of the plan from the beginning - they want a gunless Canada and they're chipping away at it slowly. The NS Mass Shooting needlessly triggered the ban of AR 15s, then when they realized that it's actually handguns (Illegal ones) that are used in most of the homicides in Canada, they decided to go after those too. Shotguns will probably be next - I could see them getting added to the restricted list at the very least so they could be tracked by the government. And then maybe when they realize that many non-restricted rifles chambered in something bigger than 5.56 do way more "damage" then they'll go after non restricted rifles.

All the while, people continue to smuggle guns illegally across the border to be used in actual crimes.

Bad optics going after that demographic. Doesn't work with how the Liberals want the world to be perceived.

Those are fancy. I was thinking more along the lines of a 1" pipe nipple with a cap with a hole drilled into it and a nail in the hole. A printed washer should be enough to hold in a 12 ga shell. Walla, >20mm bore diameter weapon of mass destruction. Now, most of the destruction would be you if you fired it but feasibility doesn't seem to matter to the political morons.

literally waiting for the " thats a pipe and a ball pein hammer" " no sir , thats a hammer lock breech load" ' Its a pipe" " But I still get $250 right" " of course!"

I realize I'm barking up the wrong tree in here , but between hunting , target shooting, winter sport like biathelon , and places outside Churchill where you just take the gun if going for a walk , its a multi million dollar (billion) business they are choking out.

And Playa del Deuce shooting his rap rival over putting his nieghborhood in a lyric will happen once a month.

$250 Each? Try $2624 for bore over 20 mm.

This is happening DAILY... media just don't report it anymore. Weve had 238 shootings already this year, looking like we're heading for a record this year. That's just Toronto btw not the GTA...
