Walking Dead (Spoliers)

Re: Walking Dead

Shane did the thing that was expedient. That doesn't make it right. Rick is the moral compass, who went a little nuts for a while.

Rick does things by the "book," he doesn't seem to rationalise too efficiently. He won't understand what it is to sacrifice something for the greater good.

Sometimes being "too good" can hurt you

And being too expedient leaves you alive, alone, and with nothing worth living for.

It depends on how you define expedient or "living"

Living by the book does not give a good reason to live for.
I used to live by the book, but the older I get the more I realise there is more to what is right & wrong

I have a different way of handling it; rewrite the book.

Re: Walking Dead

I think Rick was trying to rewrite the book. Look at his mental state now

Re: Walking Dead

27 characters (living) die tonight.

Re: Walking Dead

Good finale for sure.

I still couldn't get over the prev one tho, when Merle took the shot aiming to governor and the bullet couldnt punch through and take both down... Not too much into guns, but from what I understand, it should have killed both and still travel for a while after ??

It's a show. They have to keep the bad guy alive. Now we got to see how bad the GOV really is. I personally didn't like how it ended. Too many things not solved. The only thing we know now is Andrea is dead.

Re: Walking Dead

I no longer hate the Carl character. He finally makes sense now. His type of thinking is what the group needed, he should be the leader. Kill first and ask questions later.

Also happy that Andrea is dead.

I'm not gonna be convinced Andrea is dead because they never showed it. Kinda like what happened to Merle.

I really love how they fill out the story, makes more sense. Explains Andrea's behavior. I think in the end she really redeemed herself.

Milton even tho is a softie was eventually a hero.

A few peeves of mines, when the gov started to randomly shoot, nobody shoot back. Can we say Andrea took forever to take that pliers?

Why the hell did the guy that son got killed last week not shoot the governor in the back when he had the chance? Who the **** waits for the bad guy to turn around?

There was also a scene where he had his gun trained on the gov., the gov end up drawing faster than him

It's just a case of the writers taking a few unrealistic liberties for the sake of the story. I don't like it but it is what it is. The other thing that bugged me was Andrea was able to break a pair of hardened steel handcuffs with a old pliers and a piss poor grip on it.

Re: Walking Dead

anybody noticed how many bullets the governor had in his AR? Vs. how many people he had on his team that he gunned down.

Therefore the governor is a marksman, shooting close to 100% ACC. while rapid firing with people running around the fields lol.

p.s. i wish they showed where the governor went off to.

It was a Steyr AUG. Yeh he probably had a 50 round mag lol. Doesn't appear so.

But as they say, its just movies.

Re: Walking Dead

So disappointed.
It seems (based on reviews from several entertainment websites) the general viewers aren't too pleased either.

Nothing made sense.

I hated Andrea this entire season and yet in her final moments, she does some redeeming and dies in the most anti-climactic way. Weak. Yes, I agree. Took her forever to get those damn pliers.

Will some one just punch Carl and remind him he's just a weak boy who looks so off balance holding any kind of gun. Realistically, he should have smoked himself in the head every time he fires those things.

All this time they've had riot gear and never ONCE used it for any other operation but now?! Come on!

Why go back to the Prison? Why not claim the town? Comfy beds or prison cots ..... PRISON COTS! YAY!

So many ... many flaws.......

Re: Walking Dead

The very end didn't make sense. Does the governor only have 2 loyal henchmen left? If yes, then why didn't Rick's group just wait for him at Woodbury instead of moving the entire population to the prison? So illogical.

Unrealistic liberties? its a show about the zombie plague, you get that part right?
If Andrea cant get her monkey toes going and get some dollar store pliers to bite through tempered steel in timer to save her sorry arse, well thats just bad writing too.
For you guys counting rounds out of an" AMC network "assault rifle, 50-60-92 rounds, jumping jebus on a pogo stick, of course Firestarter and TAFB are modifying mags and selling them to the network and God help those clueless actors that call it a clip, zombie beatdown is the least of the worries. Wait till the hyper smart uber right gun nuts show up here, oy vey.

Yeah, I was getting annoyed at the number of times she stopped to stare at her buddy. If she hadn't done that, she'd have been alive.

Karl is a sociopath. He'll do what works for him. That means killing anyone who might be a threat to him.

You've worn body armour, right? Would you want to drag your butt around in it, untrained, when trying to quietly hump through the woods?

Why claim the town? Too many holes to protect. The prison is a fortress. You can be comfortable for a night, or alive for a month.

The very end didn't make sense. Does the governor only have 2 loyal henchmen left? If yes, then why didn't Rick's group just wait for him at Woodbury instead of moving the entire population to the prison? So illogical.

After killing half the town, he wasn't going to be going back there.
