That's what makes it so great. How long do you really expect the zombies to be the main issue? After the initial shock and chaos the zombies should be relitively easy to deal with. A lawless society where anything goes is the bigger issue at hand.

So upset that Merle is done! The Gov' was a boss buy just shooting him and leaving him to become what he hated! Sad that his brother found him that way and had to "kill" him!

I was ****** that merle was getting a conscious. He was better as the lone wolf / guy who does the dirty work character.

See thats interesting writing, merle gets a conscience, Rick de-evolves, the Gov turns out to be a ******, and the Asian guy get to nail that pretty farmers daughter.
just killing zombies would get old fast, side stories keeps it fresh.

I'm thinking a more logically, both Andrea and Marlin (nerdy guy with glasses) get killed at the hands of the Governor. He goes into the prison to find it empty of Rick's team but full of walkers, loses all his men, limps back to Woodbury and is killed off by a Zombie Andrea / Marlin. Surprise, no Rick vs. Governor battle and final few seconds is Rick's team driving off into the distance for either a new set of cast or new adventures in season 4.
R.I.P Merle. I actually glad he grew a concious and went out the way he deserves, in a blaze of glory taking down 1/2 dozen men.

Not a bad prediction. More or less what I was thinking too. I'm not so sure Andrea will die but I think Marlin is gonna get it.

Most likely, they will drag on the talking and then in the last 10 min of the show something exciting is going to happen and they will transfer the dragged out storyline to the next season...
SOOO many stories, potential and yet the entire season could have been done in 4 episodes, instead of 13....Things turning into the next LOST.
Oh and Rick has become a ****ing pussy...Not saying that delivering Michone is something i agree with, but he ended last season with a "you're my *******, and we do thing my way or the highway" Pfft not even a few weeks later (storyline based), Hes recanting what he said and becoming all teary eyed.
Rick needs to harden the **** up!
