I got my second Pfizer shot about an hour and a half ago at Trillium Hospital. No line up and I was out in about 20 minutes including the 15minute wait. So far no side effects.

I was eventually set for the end of July, then June 23 at Cloverdale Mall then today. I'll cancel the 23 date,

As far as getting any progress out of Ottawa don't hold your breath. The gang there is on a honeymoon with all the consultants they've hired over the last while. The consulting budget is over the moon.
Did you just show up without an appointment?

For people still hunting for 2nd (or even first shots), check here before you go through the rigmarole of logging into the provincial (or local HU) site Vaccine-ontario.ca (NOTE: I have not booked via this link, I went & logged onto the provincial site separately). You can search by dose, type & location. Follow VaxHuntersCan on twitter, discord, fb or web for more pop up clinics as well.

Just don't forget to cancel your pre existing later appointments if you have one.

Yeah, 3 days ago, I tried twice to get my earlier 2nd shot in Peel, no luck, nearest location I could go was Hamilton. Screw that. The provincial website specified that I should get Pfizer since that was what I got for my 1st shot. Ended up booking with Rexall for Pfizer but they need to contact me when they get the juice. I think I may never hear from them. So may have to wait for my "normally scheduled" 2nd shot in August.

@Freddy Fudpucker Right now I see lots of appointments (like 100/day) June 21-Jul 4 @ Sheridan College on Mclaughlin.
Key is to check everyday, they add constantly.

Thx but that link shows as being unsafe, and if you still click thru, ends up not working for me.

Try again - I corrected it. I had the same problem on my work computer, but it worked fine on my phone. I must have mis-typed something. Now I copied it.

Thanks for this. Just booked my second dose.

I had my first shot at Trillium in April and they automatically booked me for the second at the end of July. My wife found out about earlier shots at Cloverdale a few weeks ago and booked both of us. Then Trillium emailed me with a booking a few days sooner and I grabbed it. My wife will cancel my unneeded booking on Monday.

Trillium wasn't busy today, three o'clock.

They had a concept / presentation centre there before covid. The land is underused by today's standards, meaning they would make more coin if they flattened it and redeveloped.
yeah my did lives near west mall, i've seen/heard about it as i visit the area.

Any of Derek's constituents care to chime in?

Byram Bridle, doesn't say anything wrong. Israel is saying they are having 55 per million cases of myocarditis due to the vaccine since April. To get heart inflammation, you need the vaccine to travel, or cause the immune system to overreact and attack the heart. Need a autopsy to determine which is which. But for kids, who are unlikely to get seriously sick and die, and are far more likely to die from other things, he is right we should hold out before we vaccinate all our children, as the myocarditis does seem to be affecting younger people at a greater rate.

The PEG issue, 5 per million people get severe allergic reactions. Add in 55 per million for myocarditis ... that's a risk for 60 per million people. Yet somehow our NACI decided to discontinue the use of AstraZeneca for our 4 per million blood clots in Canada. Your risk of allergic reaction from Pfizer or Moderna's PEG formula, is larger than the blood clot issue, and adding myocarditis, you are 15 times more likely to get a negative response then a blood clot. Yet, we are going full steam ahead with Pfizer.

You know, out of the Chair, Vice-Chair, and 11 members, 10 of 13 are women. Makes you think as to why they decided to discontinue AstraZeneca, because of blood clots that primarily affected women, but seem to ignore what Pfizer is doing. Doesn't help that 2 of them are collecting money from Pfizer. Or that Pfizer tends to tap into these roles at the FDA and PHAC for cushy post public service retirement board member jobs.

Dr. Patrick Phillips is right that the professional organization shouldn't be censoring them, it does go against the idea of informed consent of the patient. However, many doctors have been pushing some treatments that are questionable at best, including himself. So maybe their organization is right.

Most of the "science" about mRNA has been generated the last 30 years by about 30 researchers. Who all perform research and are listed on patents for a handful of companies. There is no independant outside research that has been done. That alone should lead anyone with critical thinking to have questions.

Well i woke up this morning feeling not bad.

But let me tell you last night was hell, every time i would move i was getting a charliehorse. It was like my muscles and tendons were contracted.
To top that off i had a massive headache and chills all night. I had to put extra blankets on and turned up the heat.

Honestly I’ll be thinking twice if i need to take a booster shot in the fall

Halton announced they're replacing Moderna for any second dose appointments for Pfizer because of a delay in shipments...guess I'll be intermixed on Friday...hope I don't get sick afterwards, I have to move classrooms on Monday and it's amazing what a teacher can accumulate in 6 years of being in the same room...

Second jab done today with Pfizer at the Wal-Mart pharmacy in Niagara Falls. My sheet now shows Pfizer as my vaccine, so sadly, I can go to the US...

When I took my FiL to Shoppers in Mississauga a couple weeks ago for his 2nd Pfizer shot, the lineup was around the block.

Today, there was two people doing their 15 minute wait when I arrived half an hour early (expecting a long line), nobody in the half hour that I waited, and nobody in my 15 minute wait. Very odd, and not at all what I expected.

Thank you for sharing - that Dr. (Bridle?) with the grey beard/striped shirt was interesting to listen to.
Makes me wonder - if they are so concerned about kids with respect to vaccination, was the same level of thought given to adults?

It seems like they only tested on (female?) mice (only?) - if that is not a close enough match for male and female humans, then what other animal would prove to be a good fit? Pigs? Chimpanzees?
Don't know if they stopped using animals for tests like these due to PETA outcry over the years.

Cancel culture seems to have its pros and cons...but it sucks that most people cannot even express their honest opinions or debate respectfully without incurring hostility/long term repercussions....nuts!
