Trying something new

Where did you get the anodizing stripped off?
I have a set of ASV levers on the fz6 that I want to change the colour of...

On a side note, seeing this makes me realize I'm not ready to switch my mx bike to a sm but that's some awesome work!
If I were not into dirt also I would have bought a good used supermoto already built, that would be alot cheaper. Also some things can be added over time,no need to go full bore right away if you dont have the $$$.

My friend is a machinist so he uses a few different anodizing companies for his parts he makes, only one of them does the stripping in their acid bath. I don't know the name, I just call him and tell him I have a batch and he comes picks it up and gets it done for me. The only problem is since they are industrial there is a $175 + tax minimum for a batch. So what I do is collect a bunch of parts for myself and my friends, and do a big batch to make it worth the minimum...If your interested I will be doing another batch in about 2 weeks...

How much for them to be re-annodized?

Interested, I'm just not super close to Toronto and its down time on the fz

Probably around $20-40 depending on how many parts I have at the time...I will even disassemble and reassemble them for you if you need....Ive already done the little adjustment tabs for my friend, they were red and I made them back

And also they are done in 1-2 days after they get dropped off

Nice, I wonder how to clutch pull is on the Yoyodyne.

My Hinson is stiff like you wouldn't believe for a $1000 clutch...

I went for full bling on my frame, I wet sanded and then polished my frame on the yzf. It's like a mirror when it's polished. Looks awesome in the sun, get lots of comments at the track about it, most people can't believe I took the time to o it... But I'm sure you's looks cool too.
