Triumph owners unite!

How is your plate mounted? is that after market or just hammer, duct tape and some sheet metal method? I could go for something simple like that.

A couple of brackets and bolts from Canadian Tire do the work...Sometimes after riding if I have gone over lots of bumps I find the plate bent inwards, but doesn't bother me too much...for now (I had to lower the bike since it was way too tall for me). Might look into changing that one day though.

I really like the plate+rear signal setup on this bike:

I think it's the stock bracket chopped up a bit with some rear flushmounts? .... I guess some sort of Watsend's since it's on their site.

I don't want anything like the Comp-Werks for sure, too "illegal"....something like the R&G would be ok but $150 for what seems very close to stock seems like a rip off. I might do something DIY also.

I did the same thing with galvanized brackets from Home Depot. Works like a charm :)

Welcome!

And I want that ride too...

Been seeing a lot of Triumph's lately.

Saw one recently on lakeshore, let me pass and one at the Police Safety Operators meet. The one at the Police safety show complemented my old Gixxer. ANyone on here???

I dont know why but I love the look of Triumphs. I always picture cruising down some old English road through a forest hahaha.

Just picked up a 2010 Scrambler last week. 300km on the clock now. Fell in love with it at the Motorcycle show and had to get one.

I'd definitely be keen on a Triumph parking lot meet, would be awesome to see them all together. Taking my buddy to pick up a Bonny this week too, so that's at least 2 of us!

Just had the factory alarm installed. So far so good. Will figure out the features and report back to you what I think of it. It replaces an aftermarket alarm that was complete crap.

The factory alarm has a key fob like most cars. That last one was turned on/off by a proximity detector. Think I prefer the fob.

I am considering alarm as well.
Can you give us some details?
Price? Model? What was old alarm that you did not like?

TNX!

I went from seeing almost no Daytona 675's in the Kitchener area, to seeing a couple, one red and one black in the area around where I work a few times now.
I work at the Mercedes-Benz dealer on Victoria. Don't be shy to stop in some time if you are on the bikes. I see just about everyone who comes onto the lot so I'll run out if I see ya.
