How is your plate mounted? is that after market or just hammer, duct tape and some sheet metal method? I could go for something simple like that.
One good bump and your plate is gonna get crushed like a pop can.
A couple of brackets and bolts from Canadian Tire do the work...Sometimes after riding if I have gone over lots of bumps I find the plate bent inwards, but doesn't bother me too much...for now (I had to lower the bike since it was way too tall for me). Might look into changing that one day though.

Just picked up a 2010 Scrambler last week. 300km on the clock now. Fell in love with it at the Motorcycle show and had to get one.
I'd definitely be keen on a Triumph parking lot meet, would be awesome to see them all together. Taking my buddy to pick up a Bonny this week too, so that's at least 2 of us!
Just had the factory alarm installed. So far so good. Will figure out the features and report back to you what I think of it. It replaces an aftermarket alarm that was complete crap.
The factory alarm has a key fob like most cars. That last one was turned on/off by a proximity detector. Think I prefer the fob.
