Triumph owners unite!

Just a quick update on my Factory Alarm. Had it installed a number of weeks ago and so far so good. Does everything it's supposed to and so far hasn't gone off in error yet.

It's integrated into the tach so the alarm light is lit when it's armed. Much better than the aftermarket one I had. Guess the final proof on how good it is will depend on my bike never getting stolen...

Let me know if you have any questions.

Rick

Just Put a deposit on a 2009 Sprint ST!!!!!!! Picking her up this weekend. My first Triumph!! We need another Triumph owners get together so I can partake! :)

Love the old Triumphs, have built and owned alot over the years. By far my favorite was my 1998 T595 stripped down and converted to a s3 look.

to all the daytona owners out there... are there any issues or quirks one should know about these bikes if shopping for them? specifically anything pertaining to the '08 models.

I've got an 08 and have had no problems other than a sticking EXUP valve which causes the check engine light to come on. I've been lucky this year and it hasn't happened. Other than a PIA it really isn't a big deal and is something you can fix yourself once the bike it out of warranty. If you search the web you'll hear reports of oil consumption but I think that's fairly rare. Good choice of bike by the way, I love mine!

Picking up my 2012 matt black Thunderbird Storm this Thursday.....My dad had a Triumph back in India 50 years ago. It came without shocks! Storm is an upgrade from my 2003 Honda Shadow Spirit.

First time I've seen this thread, too.

Here's my beautiful 2011 Thruxton. What a lovely machine, it brings me such pleasure. Ton up, everyone!
