Triumph owners unite!

hey guys. i am looking at exhausts for my bike. i really do like the stock exhaust, but i am looking for a deeper exhaust note. not too keen on a shorty low mount system. looking for dual slip on cans.

i like the SC-Project GP EVO

and the Arrow Slip ons

has anyone purchased either of these two exhausts? if so, how do you like it, do you find them excessively loud? and where'd you purchase it from.

thanks,

I was in between the Arrow and the Leo Vince in CF. I went with Leo Vince as I liked the sound and the bigger cans better. Arrow sounds good too, but didn't like the look of the thinner cans.

I've been trying to get a hold of SC Projects in Italy but they have yet to respond to any e-mails and don't have a v-mail when I called them. Can't help you on that one.

God damn, I'm such a parts whore. Barely started riding the bike and already got tons of stuff ordered.

This is what I ordered so far:

LSL Clutch Side Slider (red puck) (already installed)
LSL frame sliders (red pucks)
LSL bar end sliders (red)
TechSpec grip pads

Misc. maintenance crap:
K&N Air Filter
Set of 3 Spark Plugs
2 Oil Filters
Set of Brake Pads (front and back)

Still Want to order these:
Watsen Front Signals
Arrow Or Leo Vince slipon (haven't made up my mind yet)
Some sort of a tail tidy.

ive got the bc customs tail delete and integrated tail they look good with the Watsen Front Signals.

I got the arrow slipons on mine, love the look and sound. I removed the baffles and wow it sounds good, but I put them back in as they were uncomfortably loud.

so the arrow cans do give it a bit of a deeper louder rumble than stock? because stock is just too quiet for me, and i dont like ridiculously loud. i also think it would clean bike up a bit.

I think it looks miles better than the stock cans, and it is louder and I guess deeper, it just sounds better over stock, no question. Also it fits the lines of the bike well, the stocks cans are big and look a bit out of place, IMO.

I have a Wolf carbon fiber slip-on for my 955i, and had purchased a Scorpion slip-on for my old 675.. Both looked amazing and sounded great.

Hey Roasted,

Where did you get your LSL bar ends? I have been interested in getting bar ends, and had no idea where to start looking.

Thanks.

Sigh.

I am a Triumph owner wannabee. There is something about them that evokes emotion in me. Hoping that I can convince the wife to let me pickup a Sprint ST. Fingers crossed ;)

Wow, I'm amazed that you lost a bar end. I couldn't get mine off at all. Ended up taking the bar damper whole because it was easier.

Badass. I hope you manage to get one. When I'm done pretending to still be young I plan on moving to something along the lines of a Sprint.

Yeah, I'm still confused about that cause I got home one day, noticed it was REALLY LOOSE so I tightened it with an allen key. The next day I ride to work, ride to my buddy's place, start telling him about how my bar end was loose, look and BAM, it's not there. Unless some jackass stole it from where I park at work.

EDIT: I might be missing the entire bar damper...will have to double check.

Yeah, if it's hollow and there isn't a metal bar like this one in there, you're missing it:

Nah- if you need one, you can just buy mine. I'm not going to be using it anymore because I got a set of Throttlemeisters.

I bit the bullet and picked up the Arrow from GP Bikes this afternoon. They apparently have a sale starting tomorrow - 20% off everything (or something like that). The salesman told me he would just give me the discount a day early. Awesome. Still was $720 ... ouch:p
