Also, the black paint is a apparently different shade then the regular black models.

2009 street triple :cool::cool:

Well today i went to install my top mount damper, So i had to remove the stock damper thats underneath the headlights out. i went to remove it, and the filthy damn thing was loose. So anyone with a 675 check the mounting bolts. Its the bolt that you can see from the top of the bike thru the triple trees, or whatever there called. Oh ya and i waas hearing a banging noise towards the end of the yr, on my last few rides so i guess thats what it was

I'm looking to buy a project 2006 Daytona and have heard about oil burning issues on the 06's. Any truth to this?

If you go to the Triumph675 forum you'll see lots of posts on this. Seems a few bikes do but oil, but the majority don't. A lot of blame/questions on the break in method.

I've got a 2008 and not a drop burnt.

2006 here and no problems. I broke it in by the hard method and it has 25 000 k on it.

I know it's early yet, but this sunshine and above freezing temperature has me jonesing for a ride. I really hope we can put together another Triumph ride, as we had last season, good times.
