i'll be there Saturday...i'll be bringing extra tire socks to help heat your tires(they go over your tire warmers)

Yeah i just checked that Jamie, not looking to good :(

Me too...it's either the track or closing the pool, though the kids want to have a final swim and we need to warm it up i guess.. I've been thinking about the track, but even if the weather holds up, isn't the ground too cold?

If you've got real race tires, the ground might be "too cold". What ya runnin?

Dunlop Q2 in the rear, Bridgestone S20 on the front. However---if it's cold, I'll be scared. When I'm scared---I don't have fun. I like to dismiss fear and go nuts, and if that isn't happening, then not sure.... but who knows how I'll feel in a couple of days, lol :)

Nope the bikes will warm the track just fine

Last time I was there, people were running lines all over the place, so I'm not sure if the right lines will get enough density.

I think you'll be fine. I was going to make a comment about tire pressure but remembered I'd just get flamed for it.

Corsara you'll be fine just take it slow and feel the track/conditions.

Well, that could be a problem: I'm always either all in or pass...and that extends to everything I do (which is unfortunate in some cases).

Yellow...since Sept 20th, when I got you to go in Yellow too. We spoke quite a bit in person, was going to follow you at one point and I did only one lap and exited, because I had forgotten to cuff my glove. Grey GSXR 1000, stock fairings.

Ahhh yes yes, how my memory fails me! lol.

If I get my new rad in time I'll be there on Sunday! We can explore the available traction together! I'm sure my S20 will be sticking about equal to your Q2 and we're both on litre bikes so should be pretty even. I did just get my new steering damper, so watch out for some hot laps! :)

What group you run in?

On Sept 20 I achieved 1:25 lap, which was my personal best, but I can keep it consistent at 1:28 to 1:30. Racer5 guy told me that Green is 1:35+, Yellow is 1:27 to 1:35, and Red is <1:27. However, laptime is not the only factor, also getting used to be passed in corners, and I'm not ready for that, I think. I was passed only one time, and it startled me. But it's kinda ironic, if you run fast in your group, how can you "practice" getting passed?

I'm seriously considering it! Depending on how things develop...and how I feel about it about the cold ground---I might come. Don't know what the wife thinks yet, so that could influence my decision.. but yeah, this is my last chance for the season. And since I don't ride on the street, it's gonna be either track or winterizing the bike.

I was waiting all afternoon, in yellow group, to get passed so I could follow a faster rider around and watch their lines, etc. But that never happened! lol.

I agree, you get lots of practice passing people, but not much getting passed. I guess it's best to just sign up for red and almost get run over constantly, so you get practice getting passed aggressively, and also on the off chance you might be able to keep up with at least one of them ;)
