TMP lapping day Oct. 6-8

I was there saturday...cold...wet track with puddles at first...windy!!! Perfect day for a trackday!!! Tirewarmers got a workout but as long as you were smart about temps and tire pressures and rider ability...traction wasn't that bad. Only two people went down(not fast speeds in turn #4) in the afternoon. First lap of session and they didn't use warmers.
 
i was just visiting out today but it was cold/dry out. Not my idea of fun but everyone seemed to be enjoying getting one last ride in.

Traction was fun! I was the first rider on the track this morning, OMG scary! I thought there must be something wrong with my bike or pressures, it was squirrely no matter how slow I was going! It just didn't feel right for sure.

By the second or third lap it started to clear up, as well as some more riders out there clearing the dew off the track :)

All in all an awesome day at TMP today! In only ran off the track once, kept it up even on the wet grass :) And only ALMOST got black flagged! WOOT!

Bike makes awesome power in this cold weather, just sucks the traction doesn't work like that too. After a few laps they got enough heat in them to not be "scary" :) (Bridgestone S20R's at 31f 29r)

And due to there only being a few riders, it was open lapping, which was great for keeping heat in your tires. My legs were totally shot by about 2:30 and started to pack up right as it started raining.

OMG new steering damper (HyperPro RSC). I'm in love :) Was pulling wheelies all day long and even purposely pulled the bars all the way to one side a few times and set her down soft, and hard too, and BOOM, right to middle, no shake at all. Can't believe how good this thing works!

And of course the new radiator held out fine too!

I can see where Open Lapping could be a bit of an issue with many more people, but damn, it sure was fun!

There was nobody taking pics as far as I could tell, and I didn't have my ex's GoPro so no video from me either :(
