Dude, I'm not referring to Asians when I'm talking about Markham; we're talking about 407 + 9th line, it has a context relation with ragu.

Also, I'm fob (fresh off the boat), came from Taiwan when I was 6.

I mean it can't just be a coincidence that we get a bunch of fatal accidents all of a sudden after the immigrants move in on 407 and 9th; especially when the ppl involved in the fatal accidents are always of the same ethic background?

I got no problem with HKs, Chinese, Russians (Russians are the best), Indians, or whatever, but some people just don't assimilate into Canadian culture very well and want the world to adapt to them...or they just go off scamming *cough*.

In one sense I agree but you have the advantage of having grown up in Canada. Many of these folks (and I know to which background you are referring) come here as mature adults. Their driving habits have been developed from driving in their home country, which by the way is very similar to many other countries and those new immigrants also display the same driving habits.
As well their kids also display the same attitude that many of the young kids these days display when their parents shower them with "gifts" such as flashy beemers or mercs at 18 yrs old.
I'm also an asian immigrant but have spent a large portion of my life here and currently i'm in Brampton the home of "me, me, me if there's room i'll use it" driving styles.

And like all immigrants you will get bad apples in with the good. It's difficult not to generalize, I do it as well in conversations to illustrate points etc. but I know everyone is different, hopefully you don't treat individual people based on a generalization.

Lots of backlash from that article. I left them a note about being on the fence as to whether to renew my subscription or not. I have since made my decision.

If you look at most of the comments on the forums in relation to this its littered with race hatred and generalizations and sterotypes. So yea...

Not every brown person is Indian. And culturally there is a world of difference between brown people(tamils, indians, pakistani, WEST INDIANS). That's why they all have their own cricket teams...

That's what happens when people start doing the sort of thing that they've been doing; media outlets and web forums start to get worried, then pull content. They don't want to be associated with what might happen.

No, that's the second article; the apologist one. Kenzie's seems to be gone. I tried a search of the site, that had previously turned it up, and it doesn't show anymore.
