In 2008 , if I had any idea what 2023 would look like in a Rolex dealer I’d have bought a half dozen . But that’s like saying I’d have bought IBM in the 60’s , who knew ?
Friend just changed the bezel on his GMT Rolex from the Pepsi to a Black , it’s like a new watch . He never takes it off , it’s 30yr old and looks like it came from a war zone , but it keeps perfect time . He paid 2,100 new in Germany celebrating his first overseas flight as an AirCanada pilot .

This weekend in watches.... Swatch is open in Sherway Gardens and as of around 2PM Sunday they had all of "them" in stock with the exception of Neptune (which is not in production). I bough the hardest one to get for my wife.... she was leaning Mercury but I convinced her it is all about the moon.

My milspec Marathon SAR is rocking a new band for June.... supporting family and friends, I am sure haters gonna hate--that's their hangup.

Oh so no more needing to go downtown to SWATCH? That would make a nice gift for dad also as he's not the most 'careful' with his watches.

That is a cool band on the Marathon. I'm starting to like lots of colour on my accessories.

If that's not an Adidas tracksuit...not interested.

And I have some nice (to me) gold rings that aren't flashy...yet my wife won't let me wear them as she says they 'make you look like an old man'.

Have ever considered a Torgoen? They are probably most likely to be next to an airplane dash and not that pricey for a quality Swiss watch.
 
Recommendations for a sub-$200 watch for dad? I like the one I posted but would consider something else for dad…maybe a tad more dressy.

Not an everyday watch. He's got those, and I don't want him wearing a nice watch to work in construction.
