The Official Ongoing Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread

Say random question: say you go for a ride this wed (bc it's 13 deg) then park the bike with half tank fuel left. I know it's bad if you were storing it not to refill but how long is it ok to sit not completely full? (heated shop if that matters). Thx

The full tank thing applys more when you are storing it in colder places to avoid condensation in the tank over long periods of time.
Witht he weather being how it is I wouldn't worry about it, you will be back on it in no time.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Since the riding season is almost hear should we start to think about moving to a 2012 thread?

Also got my new stock airfilter to replace the Crap K&N one and ordering my LED bulbs tonight. Have to re-wire the backend before the season. Thank god i found a good supplyer of decent bullet connectors.

This thread has too much good info to abandon it. I wonder if the topic on post 1 can be changed.

I wouldn't worry about it, because looking at the forecast you'll be burning the rest of it on the weekend, woo!! :)

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Who else is thinking about riding tomorrow afternoon?

Thinking about it but I got no gas tank lol

Thinking about it but I have no testicles! Oh wait, I mean, I have a lot of things to get done before Thursday so if I can get enough done tonight then I might be able to get out tomorrow. Definitely going to be out on the weekend though!

Dave!! The SV handles amazingly!!! Thx again. But I do need a rear shock bad! It feels like I have a squishy flat rear when getting into a corner bc the front is sooo planted now lol

Come on money tree. Grow!!!

You just got back from a ride?? Bastard... haha... When you get a shock I'll help you put that in too! :)

Just did a quick search, and saw lots that are up to '07 and say "non-abs", which got me thinking. That damned ABS control box in the back is going to be in the way if you get the wrong shock.

Ya quick ride bc I'm stuck in training next 2 days in TO office.

I've heard. The 636 and gixxer shock works with ABS. But might as well fork out the dough for the Elka and do it right ;)

Man I'm really getting good at washing her. Lol

Anyone riding Sunday? Forecast looks amazeballs!!!

The girl is looking for gear at Saturdays show and I might be 2upping it :-/ 13deg might be to cold for her still ;)

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Show is this Saturday?? What time are you heading out?

How about we decide on a meeting point/time for everyone who's going to the show?

10 am front doors?

I edited the title, will have to see if it completely changes.

We will have to decide on a weekly meet day, time, and place.
